The morning sun streamed through the curtains, casting a soft glow over Taehyung's room.
Taehyung stirred first, blinking sleepily before turning to Jungkook, who was still peacefully asleep beside him.
A small smile tugged at Taehyung's lips as he watched Jungkook's relaxed face for a moment, admiring how calm and serene he looked. But they had plans-a whole day planned, in fact.
"Jungkook, wake up," Taehyung nudged him gently, his voice soft but persistent. "Come on, we have to get ready."
Jungkook groaned, burying his face deeper into the pillow. "Where?" he mumbled, his voice thick with sleep.
Taehyung grinned mischievously, sitting up and giving him another light shove. "It's a secret," he teased. "Now wake up already!"
Another groan came from Jungkook, but this time, he peeked out from under the blanket, one eye opening as he looked at Taehyung.
"A secret, huh?" he muttered, slowly sitting up. "Alright, alright, I'm getting up."
Taehyung's eyes sparkled as he stood up, already excited for the day. "Let's get ready. We have a lot to do!"
After showering and dressing up, they headed out, hopping into Jungkook's car.
Taehyung quickly typed their destination into the GPS,keeping it a surprise.
As they drove, Jungkook glanced at him curiously from time to time, trying to figure out what Taehyung had planned.
When they finally reached the destination, Jungkook parked the car and stepped out, taking in the surroundings.
A bright smile spread across Taehyung's face as he turned to Jungkook. "We're here!"
Jungkook's eyes scanned the area and landed on the huge, colorful banners and the bustling crowd. His brows furrowed in surprise. "A fair? Seriously?"
Taehyung nodded enthusiastically. "Yup! Come on!" he said, grabbing Jungkook's arm and dragging him towards the entrance.
The day at the fair was filled with excitement and laughter. Taehyung had convinced Jungkook to wear a Mickey Mouse beanie along with him, and although Jungkook pretended to be indifferent, he secretly loved the matching look.
They wandered from ride to ride-spinning teacups, bumper cars, and even a haunted house, where Jungkook feigned bravery while Taehyung teased him for getting startled.
As they went from one stall to another, they took dozens of pictures together-posing with oversized stuffed animals, laughing in front of carnival games, and even taking a candid shot on the Ferris wheel.
Taehyung looked so carefree, with his boxy smile lighting up the camera.
When Taehyung went off to grab them some snacks, Jungkook glanced at his phone, scrolling through the photos they'd taken.
One particular picture caught his eye-Taehyung was smiling widely, his cheeks slightly flushed, and Jungkook was standing next to him, looking at camera with the softest gaze.
Without hesitation, Jungkook set it as his phone wallpaper.
