" Lloyd I need your help."
Lloyd looked up from his desk. " Anything mom."
Misako side stepped and Lloyd gasped.
Garmadon was wearing a tutu.
And he had BLONDE HAIR.
AND RED LIPSTICK
Lloyd blinked. His brain froze for a moment as he tried to process what he was seeing. His father, Lord Garmadon—the once-mighty, four-armed villain—was standing in the middle of the room wearing a pink tutu. His hair was blonde, like he'd dipped it in a vat of bleach, and his lips were painted a vibrant shade of red that looked more like clown makeup than lipstick.
Lloyd’s mouth opened and closed like a fish. Finally, he managed, "What is happening?!"
Misako folded her arms, looking equal parts exasperated and amused. "Your father... is trying something new."
Garmadon struck a dramatic pose, one hand on his hip and the other pointing to the ceiling. "I call it: Fashion Domination!"
Lloyd stood up, running a hand through his hair. "No. No, absolutely not. This is a bad dream. I’m asleep. Someone pinch me."
Garmadon turned to him, frowning. "Is that any way to speak to your father, Lloyd? I’m expressing myself."
"Expressing what?!" Lloyd exclaimed, gesturing wildly. "You look like you lost a bet with Pythor!"
Misako smirked. "Actually, he did lose a bet with Pythor."
Garmadon crossed his arms and pouted, which only made the lipstick smudge. "It was a strategic loss. I’ll have you know I’m reclaiming my power through bold style choices!"
Lloyd pinched the bridge of his nose. "Mom, why did you come to me with this?"
Misako shrugged. "I figured you’d know how to talk him out of it. He listens to you."
Garmadon gasped. "Talk me out of it? Misako, how dare you? I thought you supported my journey of self-discovery!"
Misako raised an eyebrow. "Your journey of self-discovery involves raiding my lipstick drawer and dyeing your hair in the sink."
"I own this look!" Garmadon declared, spinning in a slow, uncoordinated circle that made the tutu swish.
Lloyd buried his face in his hands. "This cannot be real. This is so much worse than when you tried to become a comedian."
Garmadon waved dismissively. "That was a phase. This is a lifestyle."
Misako leaned toward Lloyd and whispered, "I give it two hours before he tries to dye his eyebrows."
