"Cole?!" Amy exclaimed, wrapping her coat tighter around her as she stared at the Earth Ninja. "What are you doing on the top of a mountain hours away from Ninjago?!"

Cole gave a sheepish laugh. "Ahahaha... you see... I... uhhhh... well.... I got lost. Following the scent of cake."

Amy blinked.

Once.
Twice.

Then she stomped her foot, boots crunching into the fresh snow. "You. Got. Lost. Because of cake?!"

Cole raised his hands defensively, cheeks turning pink—either from cold or embarrassment. "Hey! Not just cake! It was a lemon-chocolate swirl with cinnamon glaze and extra frosting and—"

"Cole!"

"Okay, okay!" he grinned sheepishly. "I might have followed the scent up here after a bakery truck passed the monastery, and I might have forgotten to bring my communicator. And... compass. And jacket."

Amy gawked at him. "Cole, you're wearing a hoodie. On a MOUNTAIN."

Cole looked down. "It's a very warm hoodie?"

"You look like a microwave burrito halfway through cooking!" she snapped, grabbing his arm. "We're getting off this mountain before you turn into a rock popsicle."

He shuffled behind her. "You're not gonna tell Zane, right?"

"I'm definitely telling Zane."

"Traitor!"

Amy gave him a look. "Next time, try following the GPS instead of your stomach."

Cole pouted as a snowball hit his face—courtesy of Amy.

"...Okay, that was uncalled for."

"No, that was justice." Amy smirked, turning and trudging ahead. "Now hurry up, Cake Magnet. I saw a bear sniffing around earlier."

"Wait, WHAT?!"

"Relax. It didn't want cake. Just your hoodie."

"AMY!!"

"Better run!"

And Cole did. Slipping all the way down the slope after her.
