Erebus clenched his jaw in frustration, having failed yet again to locate Blake. The young Faunus had been missing the entire weekend with no indication of her return. The storied Grimm knight despised himself as he contemplated the direst of possibilities: Blake might be in grave danger. Erebus, who held every student dear, even Cardin, was tormented by the thought of any of them in peril. With time potentially against them, Erebus rallied the rest of Team RWBY early in the morning, determined to find Blake before she came to any harm.

As Erebus walked out to the academy's nearby landing pad, he guided his students onto the bullhead, sensing a wave of their negative emotions—anger, worry, and sorrow. The ancient Grimm knight realized they were all overly concerned. Blake was intelligent and resourceful; she had triumphed over greater challenges before. Yet, Erebus understood that she wasn't invincible; no one truly is, not even himself.

Entering the bullhead and motioning for the pilot to take them to vale, Erebus tried his best to calm everyone down...

Erebus: I sense you are all feeling worried?

Yang: of course we are, Blake's one of our friends! she could be in danger!

Erebus: you shouldn't worry so much, Blake is capable of defending herself from danger, she's strong and smart, I doubt she'll do something stupid.

Weiss: I still don't know why we're so concerned, Blake LIED to us, she could be hiding secrets from us!

Ruby: B-But what if she's hurt?!

Erebus let out a slight groan; speaking was not his forte as he excelled in combat. However, realizing that Team RWBY was on the verge of conflict, he managed to draw the attention of the three girls to himself.

Erebus: Blake may have secrets she hid from everyone, but that doesn't mean she is an enemy, Weiss, Miss Belladonna was someone who was willing to lay done her life for you and just because you can't see past your small view of the world, she ran...you should be ashamed Weiss...Blake was your friend, let alone your teammate...and you pushed her away...

Weiss: Quiet Erebus!! I know I'm Right, How can we be sure Blake isn't some kind of White Fang Agent?! Can't YOU see past your small view of the world and realise Blake might have been playing us since the very start?

Erebus: Lets be real here...You don't trust her because she is a Faunus, if she was human, you'd have no problems, just because someone has Animalistic traits doesn't make them a bad person...your narcissism is your biggest weakness, learn to control it or the teachers of Beacon won't have much use for you.

Weiss: Are you threatening me?! I am a model student! I do everything right-

Erebus: Ahh...there's that narcissism coming out...

Weiss's forehead vein throbbed as her anger soared to unprecedented levels. She had never imagined that a teacher could pinpoint her shortcomings so precisely, yet Erebus managed to do so in an instant, revealing that he possessed an intelligence far beyond her own understanding.

Descending into Downtown Vale, Erebus emerged once more amidst the thronging town, drawing many curious glances. He allowed himself a small chuckle; his reputation had preceded him, and the inhabitants of Remnant were intrigued by the sight of the legendary Grimm knight in their midst. Yet, Erebus was driven by a singular purpose: to locate Blake and escort her back to the safety of Beacon, where he intended to inquire about her history.

Erebus: Stay with each other and spread out into the city, Blake would surely leave a trail for us to follow.

Weiss: We aren't trackers Erebus-
