Another sunday. Another bible study session. However, this bible study session was different from the others, due to the newly formed bonds. Eli had just dropped me off, making the girls send cheeky grins my way.

Elodie: Shut up

I said, before any of them could talk, making Delila roll her eyes.

Delila: How you know what I'm bout to say?

Elodie: Because I know you

Whitney: Anyways, spill the tea girl. I see those swollen lips

Elodie: Swollen lips? I don't know what you're talking about

This caused Delila to playfully push me

Delila: You kissed him?

I didn't confirm or deny as I continued walking into Vivienne's house.

Layla: But what about Penn?

My stomach instantly tightened at Lay's question

Delila: Girl I know you ain''t talking

Whitney: I'm saying. Miss I want Mr. Williams

Layla: It was just a question, assholes

Delila: Look who cussing now! Since when do you cuss?

Layla: Learned from-

Whitney: Shut up, both of you

Delila: Bitch

Delila whispered

Layla: I know right

Whitney: El knows what she's doing. We all know how much she loves Penn and wouldn't hurt her purposefully

Delila: So are you and him like a thing now?

I shake my head

Elodie: No. I-I mean we like each other, we've kissed. But that's it. The whole thing with Penn is tricky. Elijah never-

Vivienne: Okay guys! Let's begin. Who's praying today?

Vivienne suddenly shouted from the living room. Her eyes connected with mine, before realization hit her.

Vivienne: Oh yes! It's Elodie's turn. Come El

Fuck. I forgot about that. This week was so fucking weird.

Whitney: We'll finish this after, yeah?

Elodie: Yeah

We walked over to the others and joined hands, bowing out heads in prayer. I wasn't prepared at all, but I figured I'd try to follow the same format the others used in the past Sundays.

Elodie: Dear God,
We come before You with grateful hearts, seeking Your wisdom and guidance as we open Your Word. We thank You for this opportunity to gather in Your presence and learn from the truths You have given us.

Open our minds to understand, our hearts to receive, and our spirits to grow in the knowledge of Your love and grace. Help us to focus on You, to set aside distractions, and to listen attentively to the message You have for each of us today.

May our time together be fruitful, drawing us closer to You and to one another in fellowship.

In all that we do and learn, may Your name be glorified. We ask this in the name of You Lord, Jesus Christ. Amen

The group collectively responded with "Amen" and the session began.

Vivienne: Today, I decided on a series of fun games, since we got deep last Sunday. I'm going to split you into four groups and we're going to play Bible Jeopardy, Bible charades, Bible tic-tac-toe and a Bible scavenger hunt!
