Joseta sat, staring at the medbay's computer for the fifth hour in a row. She rubbed her eyes, leaning her elbows on the desk. She didn't know what was going on with Zeta. Though it was strange that he and all the other clones she scanned had the gland in the throat and the anomaly in the head, why was Zeta's things acting up? What were they? Why were they there?

She compared the scans of Fives, Tech, and Crosshair to Zeta's, the same problem showing up with the thing in their head. It had nerves connected to it that were active. It almost seemed alive. But with the gland, it surprised her. Zeta's was twice as large as the others' so she could at least bet that it would be a place to start.

Her commlink rang, startling her upright. She answered it, finding Giggles' head popping up as a holo. "Joseta, we finished the scans."

"We?" Joseta muttered. "You know what? I don't have the energy at the moment. Send them over."

"I did, but Harpin wants us to come down to talk in person."

Joseta furrowed her brows. "Harpin?"

"Dr. Finnley."

Joseta stared at him for a moment, before recalling the woman. "Oh, the girl from the leak meeting?" She wore some crazy outfit.

"Uh, yeah," Giggles said, pursing his lips.

"Okay, I am not going to ask right now why she was the one scanning you, but okay." Joseta took a deep breath. "You guys can come. I'll send the coords."

"Thanks, Josie."

Joseta hung up, checking the message he sent with the scan files. She started comparing, noting the in-depth scans of the temple and gland. Surprisingly, the gland seemed to be dormant and the nerves around the temple anomaly were dormant as well. How come Giggles' were different from everyone else? Yes, he would need to come in for sure.

The door slid open as Zeta wheeled himself in. Some days he could walk fine, his pace matching those of his brothers and sister, then some days he was barely able to function in a wheelchair.

"How are you feeling this morning, Joseta?" Zeta asked, voice a bit shaken.

"I am okay," she said, pausing. "But shouldn't I be asking you that? How are you?"

He paused as he stopped rolling his wheelchair. "I feel a bit less tired this morning."

"Good," Joseta said, helping him out of the wheelchair and onto the examination table. The door slid open, revealing Fives. "If you want to observe, you can sit over there."

Fives nodded, taking a seat by the door. "So, what have you found out?"

Joseta snapped gloves on, prodding the area where the anomaly was. "That this unidentified jugular gland is only in clones and Zeta's is twice the size it should be."
