Minerva Arena, The City

It was Friday. The day has come; the audience gathered at the Minerva Arena, the main venue where the Amazon's Coliseum "Goddess Tournament" takes place. Sponsors, promoters, patrons, Financial Messiahs, politicians, businessmen, socialites, underworld people, among others, were already gathered, waiting to see what the order of the fights would be. On Monday, the fighters were told to train the rest of the week, because the same day they would know who they were facing, the first 4 fights of the knock-out stage would begin.

Meanwhile, in Chocolate's lounge, the owner of Amazon's Coliseum was observing the cage and the excited crowd, accompanied by Natalia and Tavoron.

-Everything ready?

-Yes, miss.

-The girls?

-I just got word that Andrea has just arrived, so all the finalists are already here and ready. The doctor checked them and they are in perfect condition.

-Excellent, then I think we can start everything. But before that, Tavo, were you able to put those cameras you told me about?

-Yes, all in strategic places to prevent them of being discovered. I saw that right with Jacob.

-Perfect, although I want you to keep in mind that I want you there, keeping an eye on those obnoxious characters.

-Yes, miss.

-By the way, I saw the videos you sent me, and I got told that one of the Messiahs in question was... nervous, to say the least, in one of the meetings he had with the Navarez family; that Messiah was the one who was talking to someone about an "exchange." Do you know who I'm talking about?

-Yes, ma'am.

-May I know when you were going to tell me that you shared that information with the Japanese?

-Ma'am?

-Don't play dead with me, Tavo. It would make me very sad to find out that you don't trust me enough.

-Well, it's more like, if you already know all the information, I don't know if it's necessary to tell you.

Chocolate puts her hand on her chin, with an expression where she didn't know whether to laugh or mock what she could distinguish as "bold stupidity."

-Honey, that could be a pretty smart way of putting it to me, or a very stupid way of getting out of it. So, either one or the other, I'd love to hear it from your mouth.

-I gave the video to Aleconda, I assume she was the one who notified her contacts there.

-Well, just like I assumed, I just wanted to see if you didn't give it to someone else. I don't know, maybe someone from INTERPOL.

-I swear that I didn't, it was only to Ale.

-I see, and I believe you. I appreciate it. I won't tell Ale anything, mainly because I guess she knew I was going to find out, but she also knows I like you too much to do anything to you.

Tavoron could breathe calmly; he did his best not to look scared, although that led him to break out in a profuse cold sweat.

-But don't you dare do that again - Natalia warns, unhappy and wary-. As if it wasn't enough breaking Chocolate's trust, kid.

-Yes, understood.

-It's fine. It's something I had expected to sneak in, especially with Tamaki's situation. I wouldn't like the Japanese government to get in here and take one of my girls away.

-Anyway, it's not something that's going to stay like that. We need to do something.

-For now we'll have them with their hands tied from now; not only thanks to Ale, I also made a few calls here and there. But the problem is that this information is now in the hands of the Navarez if that guy decides to talk to them about this matter. Then we will have to pray to Saint George or invoke Lucifer himself in order to avoid a tragedy. But, for now, it is time for the show.
