I loved it here already.

My first day at the flower shop and I was already enjoying it. Mostly, I was taking orders from the costumers. I was surprised to find out that they got so many costumers and to think I was only here for a couple of hours. Now I can't imagine how many people came during the mornings. I didn't understand how they were able to handle it by themselves.

"How about we switch?" Ruby came out of the back, carrying a very extravagant bouquet of flowers. They were mixed and matched and not to mention sooo cute. It was the uniquest pairing of flowers I've seen in a single bouquet.

"You mean like go to the back and make the arrangements?" I lowered the bouquet in my hands and placed them in their designated spot without tearing my attention from Ruby. It was only my first official day in the job and I was already given the amazing position of arranging the bouquets? It sounded a little too good to be true. Who am I kidding? Everything about this job sounded a little too good. Surely, it had to be a blessing from God.

"Yes. That's no question. She is," Lynn said as she walked right out of the back and made her way to the flowers right beside the ones I'd placed down.

"Ok. I'd be delighted to," Without argument I said. The both of them grinned to one another as if they were sharing some type of enthusiasm in their eyes.

Finally, they looked at me. "Great!" Ruby clapped her hands and went over to the register when an older woman came in through the doors. I was getting ready to leave the premises and leave to the back but paused when I heard the woman's order. The order was for a wedding. A wedding for forty tables! That wasn't the worst part but the fact that they were needed to be done by tomorrow morning.

Ruby paused with her notepad in hand when she mentioned that little detail. Surely, that was too short notice. Lynn mentioned before that no big order was permitted unless we had a week till it had to be done. Ruby was about to open her mouth and deny her request but beside me, Lynn spoke. "Sure! Just let us know what flowers you'd like. Ruby will show you the list of flowers we sell." Lynn smiled big at the older woman and Ruby looked confused as she looked at her mom but then snapped out it when she realized the woman was waiting in what looked relief for her to present the flowers.

"Again sorry for such short notice! Trust me this wedding was such short notice for me too. My daughter just announced this to me a week ago and we've been busy making calls and arrangements for this wedding all week long, hoping for availability. And my daughter and her fiancé are just very eager to marry as soon as possible." The desperate woman explained in very deep anguish. I felt sorry for the woman. Now as I payed closer attention to her more, it seemed that she hadn't gotten any sleep for days considering the big eye bags under her eyes.

"It's all ok. We are happy to help!" Ruby feeling bad for her pulled out the paper of the listed flowers and handed it to her quickly.

"Thank you, honey! You are all such angels!"
