(Season 3, Episode 3)
"Oh really?" Dazai mocked.
The former boss kept slashing while Dazai nimbly avoided the blade. He made a dash for the box's end, where Chuuya stood, but Randou was quick to react. The space stretched out, forcing the redhead further back.
"You see it now, right? You see what you have to do?" Dazai ordered.
Chuuya growled, his fight with Randou resuming. "Don't you start giving me orders!"
The man wielding the scythe persisted in his pursuit of Dazai. At that moment, I leapt into action, transforming the tiny droplet of blood on my fingertip into a slender, sharp thread. With all my might, I whipped it forward, hitting the target squarely in the neck.
*Splash*
Blood gushed out of the stump, where the previous boss's head once stood. The scythe and the man's head landed on the floor at the same time.
Finally free, Dazai shouted, "let's go Chuuya!"
"Wait, she's alive?" Chuuya stared in shock, before focusing. "You better move your ass Dazai, you piece of shit!"
"He's back up," I warned, as the old boss placed his head back onto his neck.
"Looks like it's time for plan B," Dazai whispered.
The former boss attacked once more, this time targeting Dazai, who deflected the scythe using his cast. What is that cast made of? As soon as the thought came to my mind, the cast blew apart, scattering in pieces. Where the hell did Dazai get a metal gauntlet from?
In my hand fashioned a scythe of my own blood. If this old guy can do it, then it can't be too hard. I swung my blade downwards, taking off the old man's arm. "You have your opening, now go!"
Chuuya stood before us, his power anchoring him firmly to the ground.
"You ready?" Dazai inquired, simultaneously making another leap toward the wall.
"Yeah, let's go!" The gravity manipulator shouted.
"You can't!" Randou expanded the luminous walls outward in all directions. However, one area remained immovable, and that was precisely where Chuuya stood, utilizing his gravity manipulation to prevent himself from being pushed back. "Impossible!"
Dazai reached Chuuya at last, seizing his hand to cancel out their powers. Chuuya leapt back and knocked Randou out with a single punch.
"If Randou's subspace vanishes, naturally, so will you." The previous boss's yell echoed as Dazai thrust his gauntlet into the mouth of the vanishing figure. Ew, that's nasty. "I won't get another chance to say this, so thank you." The brunette removed the metal object from the man, just before he vanished into oblivion. All that remained was the scythe.
The silence was palpable. Chuuya stood before Randou, who lay in the depression his body had created upon being thrust to the ground. Dazai and I remained just behind the gravity manipulator.
"You two some kind of shitty magicians now?
"Really Chuuya, did you think I was wearing a cast for no good reason?" Dazai remarked.
Well, I guess he didn't seem in pain at all at the time he first 'broke his arm'.
"Mine was just an extent of my ability," I frowned. My attention then shifted to the man before us. "You'll tell us anything we want now, right Randou?"
"It was on that day, eight years ago," the dying man started. "I had infiltrated my country with my colleague, and that was when it all happened."
"What did?" Dazai questioned.
