"Rock paper scissors! Go! Go! Go!"

I let out a sigh, as I watched Osamu and Sigma play a pointless game. It's never fun, knowing that you'll lose every time. Not that Sigma realized that when Osamu suggested it.

The boy in the suit grasped the shorter strands of his hair, tugging on them as he groaned in frustration. "Why can't I ever win?!"

"Because I can predict what you're going to do." The brunette smugly smiled, as he held up his two fingers, since he had just played scissors. "Your arm tension, your gaze, and the time between your moves. Also, I cheat. I imprint your next move into your subconscious with subtle gestures that you're not aware of, but work."

"Guess it's a good thing you never decided to gamble at the casino."

"Don't give him ideas," I sweat dropped.

"It's all in the risk, my friend," Osamu chuckled. "It doesn't matter a bit if you're superhuman or a normie."

"You're definitely superhuman." Sigma frowned, as he walked behind us. "You defeated Fyodor single handedly. I don't know what you needed me for. Why did you choose me? Any of those tools could've helped you more than I can."

"I have two reasons. My first reason is Kunikida." He stopped walking, turning around and jumping in front of Sigma. His hand grabbed one of the boy's white locks, slipping it through his fingers. "It's more fun doing what I do with someone around. A friend who I can surprise from time to time and is amused by the funny things I do."

"Don't touch me!" Sigma barked, as Osamu jumped back. "I know you're just trying to bullshit me again! Besides, you have her!"

The man from the casino pointed at me, prompting a soft chuckle from the brunette. He then threw his arm around my shoulder, drawing me closer to him.

"Oh, her?" His smile turned into a dramatic pout. "(Y/n)'s all mean when I try to joke with her. She can be real scary when she's angry." Soft hands slowly cupped mine, as Osamu faced me, turning his expression back around. "Well, I wouldn't mind if you ran a kitchen knife through my heart while I was sleeping."

"...How about no." I slipped my hands out of his, while looking away. Well... at least he's feeling like himself again.

"Aww, but why?!"

"I see how you like to operate now," Sigma interjected. "I'm not even worth explaining your reasons to."

That's so sad.

"That's not it," Osamu corrected. "Even if I did explain myself, I just didn't think you'd get it. You were used by all sorts of organizations, so it'd be hard for you to trust what I had to say. But you wanna try hearing it anyway? First, there's one thing I wanna check. Your ability lets you access information, even from a corpse. Yes or no?"

"Yes, as long as they haven't been dead long."

"That's the main reason I chose you. I want you to tell me what Fyodor had planned for the future from his drowned corpse. I had always expected that his ability worked on whoever he touched, but he's dead, so it's safe to touch him. We have to discern any future plans from his corpse and bring them to the airport to save the Detective Agency."

Sigma's eyes widened, shocked by the revelation. A gifted who is perfect for information retrieval. I can't even begin to imagine what the organizations that had a hold on him made the poor guy do. Especially Fyodor. Even after all that suffering, he's still being used by us.

After entering the code, Osamu opened the elevator.

"So anyway, our destination's at the end of this ride."
