"Do you really think this is safe?" Sigma questioned, as we walked past the soldiers on the floor. "The Chuuya Nakahara that we're up against here, he's able to manipulate gravity and is way more powerful in combat than we are."

"That's harsh," I pouted.

"Stop worrying," Osamu reassured. "We'll be fine. I've been thinking of ways to kill Chuuya every day for the past seven years." He stopped walking. "Besides, I have an angel that's coming with me."

"Is this the same angel from before?" Sigma asked. "That's something you were told by an accomplice of yours from the outside?"

"Y'know, you're pretty sharp for a three-year-old." What?! You're telling me he's not our age?! "You're right. I've been in contact with Ango."

I raised a brow. "How the fuck did you pull that off?"

"I quantified the information I wanted, and then I simply encoded it in my heart rate. The sensor in my body detects it, and when Ango receives it, he decodes it to find out what I said."

"You're lying," the man with two-toned hair frowned. "That's only half the truth. There's a flaw in that method, and I know you wouldn't have let me know if there wasn't. That method would only allow you to send information. That's a one-way street."

"Good observation," Osamu smiled. "Of course, I do have my ways, but it wouldn't be any good if Fyodor knew how I received information. Wanna take a guess now? If you get it, you're superior to Fyodor!" Sigma placed a hand to his chin, as he went deep into thought. Yeah, there's no way in hell I'm doing that. "Well?" The brunette lightly nudged my ribcage. "Aren't you gonna take a guess?"

I let out a sigh, as I crossed my arms. "I know better than to try and understand what goes on in your head."

"Aw, you're no fun!" He then turned to Sigma, watching as he struggled to find the answer.

The poor boy realized that Osamu was only playing with his mind, leaving him to switch over to a fit of anger. "Now is not the time for a quiz! We don't have any time to wait, so just tell us! We have to escape from here before Fyodor does!"

"We're not escaping."

"Yeah, we're- wait what?" I gave the brunette a skeptical look. "You're not making any sense. Even if the poison isn't in my body anymore, we still don't want Fyodor to get the antidote."

"It's quite simple, my love. Well before the end of the game approaches, we kill Fyodor. The walls of Meursault are made of an anti-gifted metal. Not even Chuuya himself will be able to break through those walls in time. But Chuuya is powerful." We stopped in front of a black and blue door. "We'll defeat him from here."

"This is the central surveillance room," Sigma realized.

"Once the door's been closed, it can never be opened again. And there's no way to stop the flooding once it starts."

"Wait, what are you trying to do?" The boy in the suit asked, as we watched Osamu type in a code.

"This place isn't called the world's most secure prison for nothing. Feeling secure?"

"Do not open that door!" Sigma pleaded. "You know what it'll lead to! All the armed guards inside will simply kill us!"

Looks like I'm gonna have to do some fighting. Feels like it's been forever. I didn't have anything sharp with me, so I just pricked my index finger on my tooth, drawing a small amount of blood.

"I already opened it up," the brunette giggled.

Right as the door opened, I prepared to be bombarded by hundreds of bullets. None of which came. All the men in the room were slumped on the floor.

"What the hell?" I gasped, before confusedly turning around to the man leaning in the doorway. "How the hell did you-"

"I told you how." He walked over in my direction, tracing my shoulder with his finger. "I stopped time in its tracks."

Stopped time in its- wait a minute. Wasn't a gifted who could stop time arrested a few years ago? I feel like I remember Mori talking about her. If that ability was activated, then it would affect everyone in the prison... except for Osamu.

The brunette approached the computer and began typing something with his right hand.

"You stopped time?" Sigma questioned. "That's impossible. Your nullifying ability can't stop time. Don't mess with me."

Osamu didn't even look away from the computer as he talked to us. "Meursault is a place to keep dangerous gifteds and their skills. People from all around the world are locked up inside here. And she happens to be an inmate here too. A gifted criminal; the world's most successful thief. She was arrested when she stole eight military secrets from South America. Her special ability is fascinating. For just a few seconds, she can actually stop time itself. She can affect a radius of several kilometers all around her. Me and Ango made an arrangement for a plea deal. In exchange for a shortened sentence, she would stop time for a few seconds every morning he requested it."

"Hang on a sec," Sigma gasped. "You cancel her special ability!"

"Bingo!" The brunette smiled. "I alone can move while time is stopped for everyone else. And while time was stopped, I took control of the security room without anyone knowing I was there. Taking out the guards was easier than taking out a bunch of sleeping monkeys! Well then, that gives you the answer to the homework assignment I gave you, right?"

"You got your information from Ango while time was stopped," I thought out loud.

"That's right. The ratios and frequencies in the pauses in time is itself an impenetrable type of code. You understand, don't you?"

"No one else can receive those messages if they don't also have that same code," the white and purple haired boy realized.

I get it now. Osamu changed the passcodes, locking Fyodor out... and taking Chuuya along with him. Not even Fyodor can fight time.

A screen appeared on the monitor. It was Chuuya and Fyodor, both attempting to stay in the small pocket of air, as the water quickly flooded the chamber they resided in.

"Can you hear me over the water, Fyodor?" Osamu asked in a mocking tone. "How do you feel about giving in and drowning?"

"You can't kill me?" The Russian man retorted.

"I like that feisty response, but how will you escape? You can't use your special ability to open the door, and Chuuya's gravity affects what he touches, so it's not great when you're surrounded by liquid. You're planning to use your ability to escape, right? I'd love to see that plan in action. But your ability won't help you escape, will it? That's why I chose this trap to kill you."

He still smiled, as he lowered his head. "Chuuya, it looks like this is goodbye. It's a shame it had to happen this way. We've known each other for seven years. We never did get along though, did we?" The grin then faded as he closed his eyes. So, in the end, he actually cares about Chuuya. I want to interject, but nothing can open the doors. "All that history. There could've been a lot of times when we got along just fine... like that time." A gleeful smile replaced the sorrowful one, as Osamu changed his tone to sound bubblier. "Sorry, nothing came to mind. Bye-bye!"
