-A Year Later-
Graduation. The day I longed for since I began junior high. Things have really changed since then. Whether it was for better or worse, I couldn't say. As I stood by Katsumi, Aurelia, and Aiko, I was able to see the smiles on their faces.
"Congratulations class of 2008!" The headmaster spoke.
(AN: I believe that Bungo Stray Dogs takes place in 2012, so 2008 should be the right graduation year.)
Although the rules did not permit it, we all threw our caps into the sky. I kinda felt sorrowful in this happy moment. The Port Mafia would now become my full-time job now that I finished my schooling. All around me, I could see all of the family members walking up to their kids. Osamu was out there somewhere, which led me to search for him.
"Hey (Y/n), over here!" I heard him shouting from my right.
Immediately after hearing his voice, I ran over to him, jumping into his arms. The brunette gave me a kiss before holding me tightly. It was a particularly sunny day, which caused the (silver/gold) band on my left ring finger to blind me with its reflection.
"Why don't we go celebrate with a drink, Mrs. Dazai." My husband cooed.
I let out a small giggle, before kissing him again. "You just love to call me that, don't you."
Over the past few months, Osamu's been nicer to me. He wouldn't yell as often, and he wasn't as controlling. I suspect that Katsumi might've had something to do with it, but I wasn't complaining.
A few nights ago, the two of us decided to get married. We didn't have a ceremony though. All we really did was sign some marriage papers and eat cake. I was stuck with him forever now, so I didn't care too much about the finer details.
-At The Bar-
"Two shots of whiskey." Osamu told the bartender, who was pulling out the glasses.
"Actually, I'll have apple juice, please," I corrected.
"Coming up," the bartender replied.
"Why don't you live a little?" Osamu wrapped his arm around my shoulders, pulling me into his side. "Come on, we're eighteen now."
"Sorry, I just don't like the smell," I admitted. Though this was true, I also didn't like how Osamu drank. He downed bottle after bottle of sake at home most nights. Maybe I had thought that his violent tendencies would've died down if he left the bottles untouched. I tried to get him to stop, but what's the point if he won't listen.
"Fine," he sighed. "But if you wanna try some of mine..."
"Dazai, you shouldn't peer pressure girls into drinking." A man with black slicked back hair and circular glasses huffed.
"Ango! Odasaku!" Osamu beamed. "Nice for you to finally join us."
"You must be (Y/n)." The man with red hair and a stubbly chin looked down at me. "I'm Sakunosuke Oda, it's nice to meet you."
"Nice to meet you too Oda." I grinned and looked at the other man. "You must be Ango, the intelligence officer. I hear a lot about the both of you."
"Yes." Ango readjusted his glasses. "It's nice to finally meet you."
As I shook his extended hand, it elicited a stern glare from my husband.
The three men immersed themselves in conversation, and I merely listened. Overcome with boredom, I excused myself and made my way to the restroom.

I don't get why he brought me with him if he was just gonna talk to them the entire time. It's not like I can just leave on my own.
I dried my hands with a paper towel, before placing it into the trashcan near the door.
As I closed the door, ready to rejoin Osamu and his friends. It was then that a large hand covered my mouth while the other restrained my arms. My back was pressed up against the guy who was holding me captive.
Damn it! I'm still wearing what I wore underneath my gown, so I don't have any weapons on me!
"Don't bother screaming, lady," the man laughed. "Your little boyfriend can't see or hear you over here!"
He was right. There was a long hallway that connected the bar to the bathroom. I'm on my own. I tried kicking my legs back, but it was no use, he was too large. My eyes flickered to my surroudings, but it was no use. I was unable to reach anything sharp, so my ability was out of the question. Unable to see a way out of it, I began to tear up, as the man began to unbutton my shirt.
*Bang*
The man fell to the floor with blood oozing out of his skull. Before I knew it, the familiar warmth of Osamu's arms were around me. His one hand cradled the back of my head, holding it close to his chest. I could hear his heart beating a million miles a minute, as he shoved his gun back into his coat and wrapped his other arm around my torso.
"Are you okay?" His voice was laced with concern. "I'm sorry, I thought you would be alright on your own."
Tears were streaming down my face as my husband gently rubbed my back.
"Shh, I'm here now." He gently ran his fingers through my (h/l) (h/c) locks. "Let's go home, okay."
Swiftly, Osamu fastened the buttons of my shirt and lifted me in his arms, bridal style. I kept my eyes closed, unwilling to revisit the past events. I think it's safe to say that I won't be coming back here for a while. He whispered a hasty farewell to his friends and departed, true to his word.
Once we arrived home, he lay beside me in bed while I held onto him. I had stopped crying before, but the shock still lingered. I was useless back there. When did I become this dependant, needing someone to save me?
I turned my head slightly to look at my husband's face. His expression was serene, accompanied by his steady breaths that gently lifted and lowered his chest. I'm happy to have someone to spend the rest of my life with. I don't even want to think about a life without my husband.
