(Season 5, Episode 6)

The arrest experience felt way too similar to a kidnapping. I didn't resist yet found it odd to be outfitted with a blindfold, noise-canceling headphones, a mouth bandage, and a straitjacket. I guess they don't want me to know what's going on around me or to know where I am.

Once I was put into a room, which was more like a yellow tinted bubble, I was free from all the restraints. Wow, this is so weird.

From my bubble cell, I watched as other prison orbs floated around in this giant dome-like room. There had to be a dozen or so more capsules, although I was unable to spot anyone inside any of them. They were all just too far away.

-??? Days Later-

Okay, I'm actually losing my mind over here.

Lying on my bed, I closed the cover of my thirtieth book, marking its completion.

"I haven't had any social interaction in forever," I sighed, talking to myself. "Though, it's actually quite nice having some time to myself. What I don't know can't bother me!"

Closing the book, I stood up, stretching my arms. "I could get used to- AH!"

The ground beneath me gave way, and I plummeted down. Bracing for impact, I shut my eyes, but the anticipated collision never occurred.

"Looks like an angel just fell from Heaven."

Upon opening my eyes, I found myself gazing into a pair of brown ones. Osamu was holding me bridal style, after catching me from- uh... I looked up at the ceiling, noticing that we were in a white hallway.

"Where the hell are we?"

The brunette pouted, as he held me tighter. "Come on, you could at least give me some kind of reaction for flirting with you." He let out a sigh. "We're in the hallway of the prison, courtesy of the clown guy over there."

As he gestured, I realized there were three others with us: Fyodor, a man with white hair dressed in a clown-themed outfit, and a man with white and purple hair wearing a suit. That's an odd pairing.

"Thanks for catching me, but can you put me down now?" I asked.

"Aww, but why?" Osamu dramatically pressed his cheek against mine. "Didn't you miss your knight in shining armor?"

I hopped out of his grasp, crossing my arms before looking in the opposite direction. "I was beginning to enjoy my solitude, thank you very much."

The brunette got onto the floor, latching onto my leg as he cried fake tears. "But (Y/n)! This is the part where you say you missed me!"

Fyodor cleared his throat. "As you were saying?" Oh shit! I already forgot there were other people here!

The clown handed needles to Osamu and Fyodor, detailing that they contained a lethal toxin.

The brunette looked way too happy at that needle. "So, this'll cause death in half an hour, huh?"

"Yup! You'll be bleeding from every orifice in your body!" The clown giggled.

"It's a real work of art," Fyodor smiled.

What is wrong with these people? Out of my peripheral vision, I noticed the white and purple haired man, staring at the three with an estranged look on his face. He seems quite bothered too.

"The game is simple, friend. Whoever escapes from Meursault Prison first is declared the winner." The white-haired man reached into a golden portal in his cape. So, he's the gifted that set me free. "Both of you will try to escape, but the first one to get to me within a half hour will receive this antidote." Pulling out a briefcase, the clown revealed another syringe and a bottle of medicine. "Which means..."

"In thirty minutes, either Dazai or I would've taken our last breaths in this world," Fyodor summarized.

"Of course, I must apologize to you in advance, Dazai." The clown smiled, closing his eyes. "I was really only interested in killing Fyodor, but you got in the way. Having you join him is the only way I can make him take the poison."

"Why apologize then? This is a fantastic opportunity. A gift from heaven!" He can't be serious.

"A gift indeed," the Russian agreed. "But it's sad to think that my only chess buddy will be gone a half an hour from now."

"Already sure you're going to win?" The stare between Osamu and Fyodor was intense, as they both held the syringes up.

"What other conclusion can I come to?"

This is bad. What if Osamu tries to intentionally lose? Or worse! What if his two allies have already rigged the game for him to win?

The brunette seemed to notice my focus on the needle, as he took hold of my arm and drew me closer to him. "Aww, does my Belladonna want to do the honors?" Wait! I have an idea.

"Fine." I took the syringe from his hand, but when he held out his arm, I turned the needle around, poking it into the vein on my wrist and emptying the capsule, not daring to break the eye contact between us.

Immediately, the bandaged man's eyes widened, as he snatched the empty syringe from my hand. "(Y/n), why did you-"

"You." I turned to the clown guy, cutting the other man off. "You said that your only reason to rescue us was to kill Fyodor. Me taking the poison instead of Osamu doesn't bother you now, does it?"

The white-haired man began to laugh. "Now things are getting interesting. I'll let it slide."

"(Y/n)!" The brunette tightly gripped my shoulders, as an angry look plastered his face. "Do you understand what you just did?! That poison is dangerous! I should've been the one to take it!"

Huh. I guess he doesn't know my ability as well as I thought he did. Time to play along with it.

"Well, you had a plan to get us out of here, right?" I smiled, placing my hand on his cheek. "Looks like you're gonna have to save me."

I swore that I saw a hint of worry on his face as he let go of me. So, maybe he does care about me.
