Three months have passed since Dazai and I joined the Port Mafia. Surprisingly, I find myself enjoying the work, despite its dreadful nature. The shift from enduring eight forty-five-minute classes to assisting Dazai in leading the Port Mafia's forces has been a fascinating change. The downside is the limited time I now have with my school friends. However, Katsumi Rin, known as Bones, is the exception, given her involvement with the Port Mafia as well. She joined not too long after the Sheep and GSS were taken out of the picture.
At our lunch table, the six of us gathered: myself, Katsumi, Aiko, Aurelia, Kaho, and Misato. We were a close-knit group of friends. Katsumi and Aurelia had been my best friends since childhood, and our circle expanded to include Aiko, Kaho, and Misato upon entering junior high.
"Dude, did you hear about what happened today?" Kaho asked, full of energy.
"No, what is it?" Misato responded.
"Okay, so you know how we were stuck in fourth period for an extra ten minutes?" She continued.
	"Yeah."
"Some girl stabbed her ex-boyfriend with a pair of safety scissors!"
(AN: I wish I could say that this didn't actually happen at my school...)
"Oh my god, my friend was there!" Aiko gasped.
"What, they were?!" I sipped on my capri sun, in shock.
"Yeah, he got nicked by the scissors when he broke them up."
Katsumi munched on her animal crackers. "Goddamn. Personally, I wouldn't let that slide."
"Hey, are you guys free today?" Aurelia asked. "The roller-skating rink is open tonight, so I thought we should go."
"Yeah, I'm in!" Everyone exclaimed, except for me.
"Sorry, you guys can go without me," I sadly smiled.
"Ugh, you never have time to hang out anymore," Kaho frowned.
"I'm really sorry, but I can't control when I have work. Maybe I'll stop by after if I can manage to slip out early."
"Well, just skip work," Misato suggested. "One day can't hurt."
Okay, Miss Never Had a Job Before.
"Yes, it will," I sighed. "Mr. Mori would kill me."
-Afterschool in the Halls of the Main Port Mafia Building-
"Glad to see that you made it!" Dazai smiled, as I approached him.
"Sorry I missed the meeting," I apologized. "The bus driver had to pull over to yell at us because one of the kids thought that it would be funny to stick someone halfway out of the bus window."
He paused, a look of confusion crossing his face, before he replied. "That's um... eventful. Anyway, I got the briefing about our next mission."
"And?"
"Surprisingly it only involves the two of us this time," the bandaged boy began. "Four days ago, some of the lower ranking mafiosos vanished into thin air."
"People can't vanish."
"I know that, but they're disappearing somehow; perhaps it's an ability user," Dazai theorized. "So far, four have gone missing. Mori's starting to say that we have a ghost here." He let out a sigh, tracing his fingers along the wall's surface. "We need to find whoever's responsible before they claim a fifth victim."
"Where do we even start?" I questioned.
"With the walls of course."
"How the fuck do we do that?"
