(Season 1, Episode 7)

As soon as we pulled into the defense base, we were bombarded by grenades.

"We've got company!" The bandaged man shouted.

The car skidded to a halt, as machine guns fired at us. Quickly exiting through the driver's side doors, we used the vehicle as a buffer between us and the bullets.

To prevent them from advancing, I used my ability to individually tie the four men up, thrusting them upwards, so that their heads harshly made contact with the ceiling. Releasing the threads of blood, all of the soldiers slumped over in their temporary sleep.

"Well at least we know we're in the right place." Kunikida huffed, as we all crouched behind the side of the car. "Dazai, Atsushi, you two head upstairs. Find the transmitter and send the stop signal to the car bomb. (Y/n), you're on the first floor with me."

The two ran up the stairs, as instructed, while Kunikida and I cocked our Agency issued pistols.

I proceeded into the adjoining room and found it unguarded. Keeping my muzzle aimed up, I entered another room, cautiously. Four guards? Was that all they hired? As I continued my search, I realized that there were no more footsteps behind me.

"Kunikida?" I called out to my coworker but received no answer. Damn it.

Running back in the direction I came from, I saw Kunikida, getting thrown around by air? He flew left to right as a small figure clothed in black moved his arm. Aiming for his shoulder, I placed my finger on the trigger.

The figure chuckled, as the gun flew out of my hand. "So, miss, you want in on the fun too?"

The number 28 materialized on my hand in crimson. This must be the same power that claimed the taxi driver's life. Like Kunikida, I was hurled about mercilessly, eventually slamming against a concrete wall. The number on my hand dropped to 22; I'm assuming 00 will kill me.

"My power can't be evaded, but I bet you're gonna try. See, I can send people who have numbers in any direction I want, even on the other side of the earth. But the really bad news is once the number becomes zero, they'll die in agony. It's a terrible fate and no one can avoid it. Nobody, nobody, nobody."

"Are you the leader of this group?" The blonde groaned as he picked himself up.

"The Armed Detective Agency posed a greater threat to us than the Port Mafia. Now, your team is finished." The criminal pulled out a silver object from his pocket. "You see this key? It's the release key to deactivate the bomb. Without it, there's no way to prevent catastrophe. Do you want it? That's a dumb question, of course you do. Here." He broke the key in two. "Oops, now there's no hope. Your entire mission accomplished nothing."

"Has no one ever told you that you talk too much." I laughed, letting the blood from one of the abrasions on my arm seep into my palm. "We don't plan on losing to a little kid."

Once the blood finally materialized a thin blade in my hand, I charged. It's more difficult to knock something that's attached to me out of my hand. The boy wouldn't allow either Kunikida or me to come within ten feet of him. What a coward. As I was thrown back again, I landed on my feet, rather than my back or side. Osamu would be a perfect match for this fight.

I witnessed him, the man I was just thinking about, pinned against a partially shattered window by a muscular man.

"Kunikida!" He shouted.

"I'm already on it!" Using Doppo Poet, Kunikida summoned a wire gun, firing it at the boy, who then propelled him to his actual direction. Breaking the window with the cable, him and Osamu switched places.
