A Time for Reflection
As summer's bright laughter begins to fade,
The world dons a tapestry, colors displayed.
Leaves rustle softly, whispering low,
In hues of gold, crimson, and amber glow. Each falling leaf tells a story of change,
Of seasons that shift and feelings rearrange.
Nature's soft sigh as it lets go of light,
Mirrors the journey of day into night. The air grows crisp, sharp as thoughts in my mind,
In the quiet of autumn, new truths I find.
With each breath of wind, I ponder and muse,
On paths that I've traveled, the choices I choose. The days grow shorter, the sun sets with grace,
In twilight's embrace, I slow down my pace.
A time for reflection, for gathering light,
To sift through my memories, both wrong and right.Moments of laughter, of sorrow and strain,
The dance of my heart, the joy, and the pain.
Like branches stripped bare, revealing my core,
I find strength in vulnerability, wisdom in more.As the trees shed their garments, so too do I,
Letting go of the burdens I've carried awry.
In this season of change, I embrace what's to come,
With gratitude blooming, my spirit feels numb. For in every ending, a new start begins,
As nature unfolds, so too, my heart spins.
In the stillness of fall, I find peace in the flow,
A time for reflection, a time to let go.
