Summer Storms
Dark clouds gather in a sultry embrace,
Rolling in swiftly, a wild, fierce grace.
The air thickens, heavy with whispers of change,
As the sky darkens, its mood grows estranged. The scent of warm earth mingles with fear,
A fragrant prelude, a promise near.
The wind lifts its voice, a turbulent song,
While the leaves dance in rhythm, a chaotic throng. With a crack and a rumble, the storm breaks the still,
Lightning flashes like silver, igniting the thrill.
Thunder crashes, a drumbeat profound,
Echoing fiercely, shaking the ground.Raindrops tumble, like marbles from sky,
Each one a blessing, a sweet, cooling sigh.
They splatter on rooftops, a percussion divine,
Nature's orchestra playing, a symphony fine.Streams swell with power, rushing in haste,
While puddles reflect clouds in a shimmering chase.
The world is transformed, drenched in gray light,
As wildflowers bow down, embracing the night.Yet as swiftly it comes, the tempest will pass,
Giving way to the calm, the sun's gentle sass.
Rainbows emerge where the darkness had been,
A promise of beauty, a moment serene. With the storm's retreat, a hush blankets all,
The freshness of nature, a sweet, gentle call.
And in this fierce dance of power and peace,
I find my own spirit, in chaos, released. For summer storms remind me of life's ebb and flow,
The beauty in turmoil, the strength in the show.
Embracing the tempest, I learn to be bold,
Finding joy in the rain, in the thunder, in the cold.
