The Language of Trees

In the hush of the forest, where whispers reside,
The trees stand tall, with their secrets inside.
Ancient sentinels, wise as the moon,
They speak to the wind, in a timeless tune.

"Listen closely," says the oak with a grin,
"I've weathered the storms, let the seasons begin.
From sapling to giant, my branches have grown,
Each ring tells a story, each leaf, a poem."

The willow weeps softly, her tears touch the ground,
"I cradle the sorrows, the lost can be found.
Beneath my green curtain, in the shade of my grace,
The heart finds a solace, a quiet embrace."

"Come gather around, for the pines have a tale,"
Rustles the fir, her needles like sails.
"I've watched lovers carve hearts, their names etched in bark,
And heard the sweet laughter of children at play in the park."

The birch, with her paper-white skin, starts to sway,
"In winter, I shimmer, in summer, I play.
I've danced with the fireflies, lit up by their glow,
A witness to whispers of life's ebb and flow."

"Time flows like a river, and I am its muse,"
Creaks the old cedar, in deep earthy hues.
"I've stood through the ages, seen empires rise,
Witnessed the dreams and the tears in your eyes."

The chestnut chuckles, his branches spread wide,
"I'm a storyteller too, with a heart full of pride.
I remember the voices, the laughter, the song,
The days filled with sunshine, where all souls belong."

Together they murmur, a symphony grand,
Their voices entwined, a harmonious band.
They share their wisdom, their tales from the past,
Of joy and of sorrow, of moments that last.

"In the rustle of leaves, you'll find our embrace,
In the cracks of the bark, we hold time and space.
With roots deep in earth and branches that soar,
We speak the language of life, forever and more."

So wander the wild, where the trees gently stand,
Let their voices surround you, their whispers expand.
For in every forest, in every green glade,
The trees hold the stories of all that they've made.
