Chasing Snowflakes
Out in the world where the soft snowflakes fall,
I run with a giggle, my heart feels so tall.
With arms open wide, and a grin ear to ear,
I dance in the wonder of wintertime cheer. The sky is a canvas, all gray and all white,
As snowflakes come tumbling, a magical sight.
I leap with delight, trying hard to be quick,
To catch one on my tongue—oh, the thrill of the trick! They swirl and they twirl in a chilly ballet,
Like whispers of magic that dance on their way.
I laugh as I stumble, I tumble and spin,
Each flake a soft kiss, inviting me in.With mittens all soggy and cheeks rosy bright,
I roll up a snowball, and toss it just right.
My friends join the fun; we're a flurry of play,
In a world made of winter, we chase the day away. The snowflakes keep falling, a gentle white shower,
As we build up a fortress, our very own tower.
We sculpt snowy figures, with laughter and glee,
Creating a kingdom where we're wild and free. And when the sun sets, painting skies pink and gold,
We gather around, sharing stories retold.
For in every snowflake, there's joy to behold,
A fleeting moment of childhood, worth more than gold.So let's chase the snowflakes, let our laughter ring true,
In the warmth of the winter, with friends old and new.
For life's simple pleasures, in the snow, we find bliss,
In the magic of winter, there's nothing like this!
