Falling into the Abyss
Like a stone cast into an endless sea,
I plunge into depths where light ceases to be.
A chasm of whispers, a cacophony's pull,
An unseen descent where shadows grow full. The air thickens, heavy as doubt,
Thoughts spiral like whirlwinds, twisting about.
Each heartbeat a thunder, each breath a sharp ache,
As I tumble through chaos, my grip starts to break. In this darkened expanse, the void swallows whole,
The edges of reason begin to unroll.
Reality flickers, like stars in a storm,
Lost in the tempest, I'm far from the warm.Panic's cold fingers wrap tight 'round my chest,
The ground slips away, leaving only unrest.
I reach for the walls of this cavernous fear,
But they shift like the sand, dissolving my cheer.Time stretches and warps, an unyielding chain,
Each moment an echo, a whisper of pain.
I cry out for solace, for anchors, for light,
But silence responds in the thick of the night. In this dark abyss, my thoughts twist and churn,
An inferno of worries that simmer and burn.
I spiral through shadows, adrift in my mind,
Searching for fragments of calm I can find.Yet, amidst the descent, a flicker remains,
A whisper of courage beneath all the strains.
I breathe through the chaos, I fight through the fray,
For even in darkness, there's strength to convey. So I'll chart my own course through this vast, endless night,
And gather the courage to seek out the light.
With each wave of fear, I'll learn how to swim,
Emerging from shadows, my spirit untrimmed. For falling may happen, but rising is key,
I'll anchor my heart, I'll set my soul free.
In the depths of the abyss, I'll find my own ground,
For even in darkness, there's hope to be found.
