Through the Wilderness
Through the wilderness, where shadows grow deep,
And the mountains stand watch while the rivers steep,
We venture onward, with courage and grace,
Guided by hope, we take our place. The path is rugged, the forest unkind,
But in every step, a purpose we find.
Through tangled thickets and winds that bite,
We push through the darkness, into the night. With hearts like beacons, and resolve like steel,
We answer the call, no matter the ordeal.
The wild may roar, but we press on strong,
For those who are lost, we carry along. Each fallen tree, each storm-worn stone,
Is but a test, for what we've always known:
That no matter the distance, no matter the fight,
We won't rest until we see the light. Our compass is trust, our map is the sky,
Through the wilderness, we will not deny
The chance to bring someone safely home,
No matter how far, no matter how alone. For in the depths of this untamed land,
We walk together, hand in hand.
With every breath, with every mile,
We carry the hope that makes it worthwhile. So through the wilderness, we'll always go,
Through tempest winds and the coldest snow.
For search and rescue is more than a task—
It's the heart of our mission, the duty we ask.
