Traveling to the Stars
On warm summer nights, where the world falls asleep,
We spread out a blanket, in silence, we keep
Our hearts full of wonder, our dreams taking flight,
As we gaze at the cosmos, so vast and so bright. The sky is a canvas, brushed deep with the dark,
And sprinkled with stardust, each twinkle a spark.
Constellations whisper their stories of old,
Guiding our wishes like treasures of gold. With fingers entwined, we trace paths in the air,
Finding shapes in the heavens, a map we can share.
Orion stands guard, while the Big Dipper spills,
A chorus of starlight that lingers and thrills."Look there!" you exclaim, pointing out a new dream,
As the Milky Way stretches, a luminous stream.
We weave our hopes into each glimmering light,
Each star a reminder, our futures so bright. As meteors streak by, we close our eyes tight,
Whispering secrets to the cool, velvet night.
With every wish made, our spirits take flight,
Traveling together through the galaxy's light. The universe dances in rhythms we hear,
With the echoes of laughter and love drawing near.
As summer nights linger, we revel in trust,
Our dreams mingling softly with stardust and dust.So let's lie here forever, beneath endless skies,
Where the night holds our dreams and the stars hear our sighs.
For in this vast wonder, we're never apart,
Traveling to the stars, two souls, one heart.
