chapter nineteen

Brynn was on the road going to their tent to sleep. She can't figure out where their things are. She stopped, and she looked for their things when someone draped his arms over her and covered her mouth. He dragged her behind the furthest bush he could find.

Brynn was screaming under his arms; frightened.

"Shhhh," he gently shushed her. He looked over his shoulder both ways before he reveals himself. He took out his shades and hood.

"You look familiar....." she said. Her eyes expanded when she figured who he was. Right when she was about to scream, Michael covered her mouth.

"Shhhhh, you don't want anyone to know that its me," he explained. He placed his hands on his pocket and reached for something.

Brynn was so overwhelmed seeing Michael in front of him, talking to her alone. She was so ecstatic until she remembered Calum. "Calum sent you here, didn't he?"

Michael looked up at her; confused. "Calum? You met him already?"

"Yes. I met him days ago at my work. I don't usually go to work because my I still live with my mom. I know, I know, I'm already in college and I still live with my mom. Well insists. Anyways, I only go to work just so I'd earn money to pay for my VIP tick-"

"That faggot. He won," Michael talking to himself under his breath. Clearly, he wasn't listening to anything that Brynn said.

Brynn rolled her eyes. Michael handed a folded envelope to Brynn. "Those are two VIP tickets. We'll be letting people at 4:00 for those who have those tickets. I suggest you line up a day before the concert, so you'd start the line for the VIP's," he suggested.

"Why are you doing this?" she asked.

"Good question. Hmmmmmmm.......I don't know. Just do it. Bye!" he wore his shades and hood back on and took off. He ran at the middle of street and disappeared at the next corner.

She shook her head as she stared at the envelope. She tried reaching her best friend but she received no response. She called and called until she decided to check her in the hotel.

She was convulsively fidgeting the envelope as she was nervous what happened to Brynn. She knocked on the door but no response. She took the key from her pocket and unlocked the door.

"Case! Caseeeeeyyyyyyy!! Yoooohoooo," she constantly opens the nearest door next to her. Finally she reached the bed and a note was placed on top.

                                            Brynn my love,
I'm sorry if I had worried you. I am at
the airport right now as you're reading
this. My auntie has passed away in London.
I took the earliest flight I can just minutes
after you left. Sorry I can't come with you
to the concert! I'll be here in a number of months.
I can't tell. Don't worry 'bout the hotel. I paid
our stay for tonight. And the tent, I took
everything except for your tent. Sorry again.
Love,
Casey

"Well, guess I'm alone," she sighed. She jumped on the bed as she opened the envelope. There lies inside the tickets she has been waiting for all her life. It's finally here.

"This is it. All the answers I need lies here," she said. "You're my only hope." She hugged the envelope and painted a faint smile on her face. She closed her eyes when someone knocked on her door. She placed the envelope down and opened the door.

It was the staff.

"You're friend has fully paid for this hotel. You have to leave now," he rudely shooed her.

"Okay let me get my things," Brynn took the envelope beside her bed and left the place. She gave the keys to staff and off she went.

Great, how am I supposed to go home, she thought. She took the elevator to take her to the basement. She left the hotel and figured where can she get a vehicle back home. Luckily, there was a nearby bus that could take her back. She took her things in the tent and left before the bus leaves.
