chapter thirty one
(congratulations for making this far)

You'll get to know 'her' more here :D So it's mostly Luke talking.

__

"I met yo- I mean her. I met her at a family's party. I was 6 and she was 5. I remember, I was so mad at my Mom for making go there. I was just sitting at a table with arms crossed. And then she came in, god she was so gorgeous. She was wearing a blue ombré dress matched with a glass baby heels."

I remember walking up to her saying, 'hi! I'm Luke' but she just ignored me. She was a snobby person, but I don't know, something drove me to just keep bugging her," Luke laughed. He stared at the fire while Brynn was solely listening.

"The party ended and she didn't talk to me still. I got sad when she had to leave already. I thought it would be the end till I saw he in school. Apparently, she just moved from Adelaide to Sydney. Someone bullied her but I punch the guy. I got brought to the principal and my Mom got mad but its okay cos ever since we were best friends."

"Just keep going. Tell me more about her, luke what does she like and all. I'm listening," Brynn smiling.

"Well, she has to habit to stare and admire something she would like. I don't know, I couldn't really specify because she just finds everything beautiful. But like I said, there are these times where she just sits down and stare at it," he laughed. He turned his attention back to Brynn who was still in the same position.

He stopped and smiled at her. "Go! Why'd you stop? I really want to know her. I'm comparing if what you think- her being me, could be possible. But I don't think it is haha," she chuckled.

"Ughhh. She loves scarves. Her grandma has a lot and then she'd used to wear it around her body," they both chuckled.

"She's a good actress, too. She can manipulate you to think something's real. She fooled me a million times, really. Oh, can I tell you weird things about her?"

"Why, of course, didn't I ask tell you not to stop," she slung and arm behind Luke.

"Okay. She eats a lot, but she does not like tacos, nachos oh and, chipotle. She eats an ice cream with a fork when she has problems. She said its less stressful, i don't know!" they laughed.

"Oh yeah, we have a necklace. It's necklace she made for me supposedly, but the pendant broke it half. So she decided to make it a couple's necklace. I used to call her my girlfriend, I wished, but no. We weren't. We were too young," he pulled his collar and revealed the half necklace. Brynn looked at it wide eyed; shocked.

She tried to compose herself. You're not her, Brynn. You're not, she thought.

"Well she seems like a very fun girl. Also weird I might add," she smiled. She looked down at the sand and asked him something. "What happened then?"

Luke's smile turned to a sad a face. "She had to go to Adelaide to visit her late grandmother for 3 days. I even wrote her a letter. I waited, and waited and then she just never came back," he wiped his tear.

He faced Brynn. "Some say she died in a car accident, but I didn't believe. Something in me told me my other half isn't dead. But the fact that they were able to make that kind of thing up, it hurt me. I felt like I was dying each day," he cried.

"It was as if I was carrying a whole luggage of emotions everyday. I would take it with me everywhere," he compared. "I tried to be happy and move on thought, because it's been like a year."

"But then I found Michael and Calum. We started a band and then we found Ashton. I was happy, but everytime I'd think of her, it makes me sad. I really want but how can I when all my songs are based on her?"

"All those songs for her? You don't write all of the songs, I suppose. Well, I really do hope you find her. I mean with your description, I don't thinks its me. I guess-" Brynn was cut off when someone screamed her name.

"Is that Ashton?" Luke asked. He looked around and saw a boat coming towards them.

Brynn looked at Luke, "I'm sorry."

"Why did you tell them? We could've found our way back," he asked. "Why don't you want to stay here? With me?"

"I do. I'm having fun actually. It's just that, I have things to come back to. Like Mom and You for this girl," she stood up.

"It's for the best, Luke. I'm gonna help you find her," she took her backpack and waited for the boat to come.
