chapter twenty two
"Goddamnit," Brynn cursed as she shut her alarm clock. It was 2:30 in morning and what she planned out was not very good.
She entered her bathroom and took a quick shower. She slipped a pair of her favorite black jeans, clipped on some bra and wore a huge sweatshirt with the 'obey' sign after. She took her brush on her way out.
She brushed her hair gently, to let the excess water drip out. She took a pair of Vans and slipped it on. She packed some extra clothes for emergency.
When she has finished, she 'quietly' made her way to the kitchen and stole a couple of granola bars. She poured some milk into a tall glass and consumed it.
She grabbed a pen and paper and wrote a note.
I'm going somewhere.
I'll be back soon. I love you'
bry xShe sticky taped the wall on top of the kitchen table and walked towards their key rack.
"Shit!" she cursed. The keys weren't there. She inspected the whole kitchen, but still it was no where to be found.
"It has to be in her room," she said. Brynn tiptoed her way to Rose's room. She opened her drawer and found her keys.
"Brynn?" her mother groaned. She slowly sat up to see what she was doing.
Brynn slowly moved the keys in her pocket and turned around; closing the drawer.
"Mom! hi," she jittered. She placed her hands inside her sweater's pouch and rocked back and forth.
"Why are you dressed up?" she asked.
"I uhhh.... Uhhhhm.... I am running," she made up. "Running a fashion blog."
"A fashion blog?," she doubted, her eyes slowly falling.
"Mom, you're sleepy. Just go to bed. I love you," she reminded. She tucked her Mom in and kissed her forehead.
"Alright. Goodnight," she left the room. She sighed in relief as she was able to surpass that.
'Okay now I need to go out,' she thought. She parked her car outside their house; telling her Mom she was going to leave early.
She slowly opened the door, careful not to wake her cat. She ran straight up to her car and started the engine.
Her gas fuel has gone low. She had to make her way to gasoline way immediately before she ever makes the 3 hour trip.
She arrived the gasoline station 10 minutes later and instantly took the dispenser.
When she finished, she entered her car and parked at the store. She took some chips and drinks for storage.
She ran back to her car and opened her engine.

An hour and and a half minutes later....
Brynn decided to take a rest first before taking another mile. She parked her car beside an abandoned house.
She reclined her chair backwards and closed her eyes. She opened it later and reckoned she couldn't even sleep.
She sat up straight and she grabbed a huge bag. She took the box that that was located below her clothes.
She opened the box and gathered in it. The necklace, the pictures, the letter.
She opened the letter and read it again after 4 years.
Brynn,
Words cannot explain how much I am grateful for knowing you. For being my best friend. My girlfriend. I don't know what would've happen to my life if I haven't met you. I rather lose myself than to lose you. If something will ever happen to you, I will never forgive myself for not being there to save you. If you're gone, I'll be gone too. I love you and I'll always will. Happy Birthday!
Love,
Luke x
Tears came running down Brynn's face because she felt like she has betrayed him. She may not know or remember whom this guy is, but she can feel him.She doesn't even know how they met, why she can't remember him. I guess that's why I'm doing this. I wanna end this once and for all, she thought.
