chapter twenty three

Brynn woke up to the sunshine smiling down at her. She squinted her eyes as she placed her hand before the lights.

She let out a small yawn and scratched her head. She looked around her car, curious where she was.

She widened her eyes to try to wake herself up. She reclined her chair upwards and brought the chair nearer to the steering wheel.

She opened her engine and took her phone.

She brought out her GPS to refreshen her mind to where she was going. There is a Starbucks shop alongst the way she will going.

She decided that she will go. She started to move her car slowly as she is very pumped to go to sbucks.

When she finally saw the sign, she made a right turn and parked to the slot that has been left open.

She came back about 5 minutes later with a Caramel Macchiato. She opened her engine once again and her next top was at the arena.

Brynn parked at the last slot there was left on the parking. She closed her car and grabbed her backpack.

She placed the box, clothes and some food and drinks in the bag. She slipped her arms on the shoulder strap and opened her door.

Noise can all be heard from the outside. From screams of the girls, advertisements to the inside of the arena.

She leaned in to take the keys of her car, phone and the hot CM drink she bought. She closed her car and made her way to the lane.

She passed people selling some candies, food, people buying food up to people lining up with their parents. There were quite a number of people already for a very early morning. It was only 7:00 in the morning and people have already been lining up.

Brynn made her way to the VIP lane which not much were in. They were only 5 people only with the tickets. She made her to her spot and removed the backpack from her back. She opened it and took a mat for her to sit in and a book for her to read.

She placed her backpack in front of her while her book is on her lap. She was just about to open her book when someone tapped her shoulder.

"Do you want to buy some candy?" a guy asked. He was wearing a red cap, a red shirt and some normal pants. He had this number of candies in front of him and he looked pretty desperate to get a customer.

She felt pretty bad for the guy, so she decided to buy some candies even she didn't want some. "Okay, I'm taking 2 peanut M&M's and Nerds." Brynn handed him the payment.

"Thank you so much. Oh and here's receipt," he handed her candies and receipt. There was something in the receipt though. It was a number and the words written Text the number.

She crumpled the paper and threw it in her bag. She was terrified because she didn't know the guy. And she didn't who know who's number was it.

Suddenly her phone beeped. She opened her bag and reached for her phone.
"We're glad that you came."

She crinkled her forehead and looked around her. She replied saying, "How do you know? Why are you doing this?"

"You'll know. Plus, we want to be sure..... that you like candies 😉" they replied back two minutes later. Brynn took the candies on her lap and scoffed.

Sorry if I wasn't able to update yesterday. It was my Mum's birthday yesterday so we were busy with all the surprise planning 😊
