Drew looks at his phone, seeing another message from Aurelia pop in on his phone. He leans against his fist at the counter, looking at the emoji she sent. Lately, she has been very affectionate and persistent. He doesn't hate it, but he does know since the whole shit show with Vinny, she started doing this.
Picking up his phone, he calls her number, and just as he expected, she answers right away.
"Hi, Drew." She murmurs softly on the phone.
He walks over to his couch and sits down, looking at the ceiling. "Hey, Angel."
"How are you feeling?" She asks quietly, the anxiousness of the question in her voice. "Did anyone come and talk to you about Aiden yet?"
Since that night of the competition. Aiden has been arrested and put under investigation. No detective has approached him about anything, and knowing that means his uncle got him out of the trial. Typical and expected. Or maybe they are spending time paying people off to be quiet and they haven't got him yet. Not that he needed the money.
"Nope. Maybe his folks paid some people off to look the other way." He sighs, rocking his leg back and forth.
"That'd be horrible." She comments, making him nod but different words come out.
"I'll be out of the place soon, and hopefully never have to see that dick ever again." That's not what he wanted to say, he wanted justice, but part of him wanted to go on with his life without having to think about it. What could he argue anyways? He took the drugs before Aiden drugged him.
They'll probably say he is standing against him for money. That thought made him sigh. He did not think he would be talking about this shit with Aurelia. He called her because he wanted to know what she was doing, even though she had just texted him.
"Angel–"
The sound of a car horn cut him off, making him sit up.
"Yes?"
"Are you outside?" He asks her, even though that wasn't what he was going to ask before. She hums in response, making him look at the time. It was seven o'clock. Where could she possibly be going this late in the evening?
"Where are you going this late?" He questions, standing up from the couch, getting ready to leave the house to meet her at the location.
Her laughter fills his ear, and that laugh travels straight to his pants. He hasn't had sex in a while. He needs to. When Aurelia first started dating them, he wasn't kidding when he told her that they are, he and Elijah, very sexual. They have sex a lot. Hate sex. Make-up sex, and passionate sex. They have all kinds of sex before, but when she eases her way in, melting their souls and hearts sex wasn't often, but occasional. They only do it when she wants to, but he wants her. He wants both of them right now. He needs it.
