The Prophet s.a.w encouraged this and most of the companions married divorced women or widows.
Society has a problem with status and ego and arrogance and PRIDE
Which is why to look good to the people is better than FOLLOWING SUNNAH
SO THIS IS A FORGOTTEN SUNNAH
For getting married to a divorced lady, there is nothing wrong about it. The Prophet got married to Khadijah who was older than him and she has previously married before him. Allah issues a general command to get married to those who do not have wives or husbands from both male or female,
But I know women who have been beaten up for the past 25 years and couldn't do it anymore and one of the women did get married alhamdulilah after 25 years of taunt and abuse she's happy...
I been unmarried since age 20-21 and I've struggled with it immensely alhamdulilah
It's so hard once you tasted intimacy because you know how it feels
It's like you forget, but you don't
So Allah didn't forget us and said the sunnah is divorced women, but also widows and virgins too
Alhamdulilah how we deal with it is keeping busy, praying our salah, tasbih, masjid, volunteering and fasting or otherwise it will be so hard.
But the truth is it is a forgotten sunnah
So I found solace in forgetting about society all together and men
I will wait for Allah to show me the one connected to my Rib
If he's here or in jennah
Some men feel like divorced women even myself without kids are burdensome and we don't want to talk about why the marriage broke down
Do you know how much it hurts being accused of being unloyal, a cheater and a liar and none of this was even your fault at all
It hurts when people question your deen because you're divorced?
Astakfirallah shame on this Generation
Shaming the ummah and making up islam as they go along
The sunnah is divorced women it's what the Prophet s.a.w said and he also married widows too
And a virgin
So people look at divorced women like they're no good
But would you look at khadeja like that on day of judgement
I think not
So why not stop treating divorced women badly because Khadeja r.a was also a divorcé
Let's read this hadiths
"The one who looks after and works for a widow and for a poor person, is like a warrior fighting for Allah's Cause or like a person who fasts during the day and prays all the night."
"the Messenger of Allah said: "Marriage is part of my sunnah, and whoever does not follow my sunnah has nothing to do with me. Get married, for I will boast of your great numbers before the nations. Whoever has the means, let him get married, and whoever does not, then he should fast for it will diminish his desire."
*It's winter why not do 30 days
I wanted to try to do 90days because it really helps in multiple ways.
the Messenger of Allah said: "There is nothing like marriage, for two who love one another."
the Messenger of Allah(ﷺ) forbade celibacy. Zaid bin Akhzam added: "And Qatadah recited: 'And indeed We sent Messengers before you (O Muhammad (ﷺ)), and made for them wives and offspring.'"
(So why would you ignore divorced women and widows ? And only think about virgin women
There are divorced women with no kids and by kicking blessings that come your way this is yourself creating your own blockages- nobody else and Allah knows what is best for you maybe you and that person weren't good for each other I see myself as being alone in Allah's company without distractions as it got me closer to Him than ever before.
Thawban said: "When the Verse concerning silver and gold was revealed, they said: 'What kind of wealth should we acquire?' Umar said: 'I will tell you about that.' So he rode on his camel and caught up with the Prophet, and I followed him. He said: 'O Messenger of Allah what kind of wealth should we acquire?' He said: 'Let one of you acquire a thankful heart, a tongue that remembers Allah and a believing wife who will help him with regard to the Hereafter.' "
the Prophet said: "Do not marry women for their beauty for it may lead to their doom. Do not marry them for their wealth, for it may lead them to fall into sin. Rather, marry them for their religion. A black slave woman with piercings who is religious is better."
The Messenger of Allah said: 'A previously-married woman can speak for herself, and the consent of a virgin is her silence.' "
unmarried among you and the righteous among your male slaves and female slaves. If they should be poor, Allah will enrich them from His bounty, and Allah is all-Encompassing and Knowing." (An-Nur 24:3).
Its also sunnah for the female to marry a male widow and bring his children up
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) is reported to have said: "Bring the orphan close to you, pat their head, and feed them with the same food you eat. It will soften your heart and fulfill your need." (Makarim Akhlaq)
The Prophet pbuh also said...
"
I and the person who looks after an orphan and provides for him/her, will be in Paradise like this," putting his index and middle fingers together. (Sahih Bukhari)
Pbuh also said...
"The best house among the Muslims is the house in which orphans are well treated. The worst house among the Muslims is the house in which orphans are ill-treated." (Sunan ibn Majah)
Pbuh also said...
"Whoever embraces an orphan of two Muslim parents by feeding him and giving him drink until he is independent of him, Paradise will certainly be necessary for him." (Musnad Ahmad)
Pbuh also said...
"One who maintains the orphans, Allah makes Paradise Wajib upon him, in the same way as he makes Hell wajib upon those who usurp the property of the orphans." (Greater sins, volume 1)
