Sadaqah Is voluntary deeds extra income
Zakat is compulsory
So example you are earning
£30,000 a year
£600 must be given in Sadaqah from your wages
On Islamic relief they have these calculator things I am nor sure about gold, property and taxation on things like this and why this is on their websites
I know you get taxed on business but that's in overall wealth? So I'm confused about their calculator and I do know about money owed to you and you should pay zakat on that money yes.
I did ask the sheikhs and even they don't know about Gold taxation that's a gift you don't tax on gifts? but islamicRelief want you to donate through them I never seem to find them on other zakat calculators so I would advise you to speak to a Sheikh but we know it's minus 2% of our earnings and savings and money owed to us and money we owe people is a debt to that person for example your brother and he pays the 2% zakat taxation.
So you're left out of 30k 29,400 this will purify your wealth and you'll see opportunities open up for you mashaAllah I'm telling you please pay your Zakat
I just donate to the masjid qubah
Or grand masjid who are doing a lot for Palestine mashaAllah or donate wherever you please if you have savings over 100k you must calculate your zakat for that year
If it's 150,000 you only pay £3,000 Zakat the Satan will really really play with you this is when the wealthy people become tested and it becomes a bad path for them and drives them away from the path of Allah and those who have nothing the wealthy look at them and they might think but why are they happy they can't even afford private medical bills? Alhamdulilah because their trust and patience is with Allah that's why they're not in that state of mind anymore they're elevated and please remember your wealth became what it was by Allah himself and He Can Also take it away If He Wills It To Happen
