Perfume?

Author878

Excessive use of perfume according to scholars is mild zina
I don't think so because our
Prophet Muhammed s.a.w wore perfume

We must bathe regularly and smell good
Smelling bad or having armpit odour is foul
A lot of people tend to wash hair everyday that's not good for hair
Simple body showers daily eliminate odours

I know I eat a lot of gas producing foods and vegetables and onion, garlic etc
So If I must shower twice a day I will do it
Using bar soaps carry microorganisms and may not work to eliminate bacteria
So you may find you still stink

Sweat on its own doesn't stink it's mixed with bacteria on your skin that give it a foul smell
Simply covering in layers on perfume is not the way

Shower
Clean it off
Dry yourself well
Use a deodorant
A body spray
White musk or other sunnah perfume
That smell nice mashaAllah

Avoid that zio savaage whatever and to me it smells outdated
Or I don't tend to pay attention to the smell of people but there are so weird people who might smell you and think you smell nice I know because it has happened and I seen people smell people and say they smell nice or ask where their perfume is from even a squirt can be strong but some scholars just have strong opinions

I don't know I was 22 years of age and a girl asked me about my perfume and I told her it was a gift from my mum it was a celebrity endorsed one not supporting Israel I only used one squirt on my neck but she could still smell it subhanAllah
I'm just saying one squirt is enough alhamdulilah

Let's look at hadiths about perfume

If speech is blessed by sending blessings upon the Prophet s.a.w how could Madeenah not have been blessed during his days, while he inhabited it; he, who refreshed its breeze, perfumed its atmosphere and renewed its fragrance; whose scent preceded him to wherever he went and remained after he had left. It was he s.a.w who was the one by whom Taybah (another name for Madeenah) was blessed in his life, and still is after his death.

What the quran says

Another cause of the Prophet's laying importance on perfume may be that he s.a.w sat with the angels and communicated with Allah The Almighty several times in prayer. This was all the more reason for him to perfume himself, as it was revealed to him (what means): {O children of Adam, take your adornment at every masjid, and eat and drink, but be not excessive. Indeed, He likes not those who commit excess.} [Quran 7:31]

This means enjoy to perfume but not 1000 billion squirts to the point people smell it from 500 miles away
Have a shower and avoiding xio products means they will last longer
I stopped using their products and I smell better than I ever did in my life Alhamdulilah
Even stopping their foods with millions of chemicals will make you smell nicer
It is mild zina if done excessively but did the companions wear perfume ?

Woman wearing perfume thinking that her fragrance will not reach people
When a Muslim woman puts on perfume and thinks it most likely that her fragrance will not reach people and that men will not smell any of it, such as if she is going out in her husband's car on a trip to an isolated place, or to visit her family, or she is going out in her husband's car to a gathering for women only, or she is going to the mosque in the car and she is going to get out at the entrance to the prayer-hall that is for women only and is completely separate from the men, then she is going to come straight back in the car without walking in the street, and other such situations where the woman does not expect to pass through the streets and her aim in putting on perfume is to keep herself clean in general as enjoined by Shari'ah, in that case there is nothing wrong with her using perfume, because the reason for the prohibition, which is that the fragrance might reach other men, does not apply.

The evidence for that is as follows:

· The apparent reason for the prohibition in the evidence quoted above does not apply in this case, so there is no fitnah and there is no provocation of desire.

· In Sunnah, there is an indication that the womenfolk of the Companions used to use perfume when they thought it most likely that it would not be smelt by men.

Here in Britain it will be smelt by men do be careful the amount of perfume you do use

I'm also trying to stop my habit of using excessive perfume
It is culture from ancestors 1000s of years before Islam and I'm desperately trying to stop it
I stopped make up but perfume was harder

May Allah guide us to the straight path
If you have intentionally used it for seduction or let people smell you without restraining yourself
This is sinful and the perfume you applied is too strong
Just because people say nothing
It doesn't mean they didn't think something
A believing person wouldn't smell a member of the opposite sex because it's very sinful
It can lead you to doom

Washing powder and fabric softener is fine and ironing water, but use Luban dhakar rather than bakhoor you're going out
Chewing gum is fine and mouth wash
No need to be extreme
