Jummah mubarak
Islam is more than a religion it is an entire way of life. It teaches us how to behave from morning until night and it even tells us the best position to sleep in. To some that might sound like 24 hours a day of rules and regulations but the truth is that Islam is such a natural way of life the rules become as easy as breathing. One thing that is as easy as breathing it is smiling. That little curve of the mouth and wrinkling of the eyes that makes not only you but those around you feel good.
Even a baby smiles subhanAllah.
A smile lightens the load and frees the spirit. Try it! See don't you feel lighter and happier?Prophet Muhammad smiled, often and with real joy. In fact he smiled so regularly that his smile and kind demeanour are mentioned time and time again in anecdotes and stories from his traditions.
Abdullaah ibn Haarith said, "I never came across a person who smiled as much as Prophet Muhammad. Prophet Muhammad regarded smiling to a brother as an act of charity."[1]
And, the Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Smiling in your brother's face is an act of charity" (At-Tirmidhi; Declared Authentic by Al-Albani).
Amazingly, smiling is equal to spending in the cause of Allah, without having to pay even a penny. This is, indeed, a Prophetic solution to those who desire to give charity but cannot afford it.

Smiling is sadaqah Sunnah of our Prophet Muhammed s.a.w
Even if people don't smile back it doesn't matter because you get the reward...
Even if you don't like someone
Smiling is sunnah.
It improves mental health and spreadsheet kindness...
Even if you smile at a stranger and they don't smile back-That person could have lost their husband and you might have been the only person who smiled at them in a long time because grief isolates people and they might have decided to just go out and they might have been caught off guard...
This is a short Islamic story I wrote, but please don't judge me I was only 14 and it was just an example of why Smiling is kind...
A Young student aged 14 smiled at a cute elderly lady, but she didn't smile back, she smiled at her regardless the young Muslima was only 14 and months later she saw her again and had a really bad day and the elderly womans radiant smile made her so happy, the young girl was caught off guard at first, but recognised her and the woman said that in the summer time when the young girl smiled at her and she lost her husband and was isolated that she was the only person who smiled at her all summer time and that she was thinking of her and in the Autumn time she said she was very happy to see her and the young girl said you are the only person who has smiled at me all week and that she was happy they see each other again...
The elderly woman explained that like how you made my day Allah is making your day better that no matter who is making you sad just remember He is always here to remind is that not everyone is the same.
The young girl smiled again and didn't see the elderly woman for a long time...
When she did they always smiled at each other and she always helped her with her groceries and one day the girl didn't see the elderly lady for a long, long time and she knew she might have passed away so she kept her in her dua because the elderly woman had indeed taught her something important- Don't judge a book by its cover which she always told her friends when people never smile back and we shouldn't abandon our sunnah.Hadiths--
Prophet Muhammad was always cheerful and bright-faced. According to historians he always kept smiling in the face of his Companions to the extent that Abdullah ibn Al-Harith ibn Hazm said, "I have never seen anyone who smiles more than the Prophet does." (At-Tirmidhi)
Jarir ibn Abdullah said: "Allah's Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) never refused me permission to see him since I embraced Islam and never looked at me but with a smile" (Sahih Muslim).
Moreover, Abu Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allah said: "You cannot satisfy people with your wealth, but satisfy them with your cheerful faces and good morals" (Abu Ya'la and Al-Hakim; Authentic hadith).
Abu Dhar narrated from the Prophet that he said, "Do not disdain a good deed, (no matter how small it may seem) even if it is your meeting with your brother with a cheerful face" (Sahih Muslim).
{Until, when they came upon the valley of the ants, an ant said, "O ants, enter your dwellings that you not be crushed by Solomon and his soldiers while they perceive not."
So [Solomon] smiled, amused at her speech, and said, "My Lord, enable me to be grateful for Your favor which You have bestowed upon me and upon my parents and to do righteousness of which You approve. And admit me by Your mercy into [the ranks of] Your righteous servants"} (An-Naml 18-19).
*naml is Arabic means ant*
How great is a smile when it comes from someone strong and is offered to someone weak? Or when an older person smiles at someone young? And how powerful is that smile when it's offered from the ruler to the ruled?
How amazing is a smile when it comes in a time of disaster, crisis, or panicking?
That was the smile of Prophet Suleiman. His smile was filled with tenderness, passion, and admiration of what the little ant said and did. It was a smile that alleviated the tension of the situation. It restored safety, security, tranquility and peacefulness to everyone.
