MALAK'S POV"So why are we meeting here instead of your house again?" Fadul glares as she stands hands akimbo in the middle of what used to be her room.
She totally didn't appreciate the fact that she bumped into Ya Imran on her way to the room and she wouldn't shut up about it.
"Surely being in the same vicinity with Ya Imran isn't that bad no?" I tease. "I hate being blunt but it's the worst situation ever" she answers and I try to hide my laugh while she glares.
"Anyways, remember the dress and everything is supposed to be a suprise for Na'eem so I have to do it here so he's bedazzled and all when he sees" I force out a smile.
Lies.....that's all I've been telling my family to cover my mess up,lies upon lies. When Huda said she's going to drop by I told her I'll be out for an errand, when I asked Fadul to help me get ready I told her the change in location is because I want to suprise Na'eem.
"Okay so which dress are you wearing?" she ask her features softening a little. Fadul is such a hopeless romantic it's crazy. "It's on the bed" I point moving to the vanity.
Na'eem didn't say it but that was his favourite.
Made me twirl twice in it and got a kiss on the cheek after. It's a white silk flared gown with lace edges and pearl beddings at the wrist. It's also long sleeved gown a square neckline. Elegant, modest and chic!
I'm using my pearl jewelry set, a white veil and my silver Jimmy Choo stilettos.
We got ready in record time with Fadul in her beige gown complimenting her caramel skin so well.
"He's staring" I nudge Fadul when we got out of the main house to the compound where the cars are packed. She glanced at Ya Imran for a second before looking away from him. "He's staring at you not me" she answers and I roll my eyes.
"Siblings don't stare at each other with heart eyes" I say. "Yeah, neither do brother in laws" she roll her eyes and I cringe to that. Ya Imran is soon going to be her brother in law since Fariha is soon going to be his wife but Oh God, that sounds weird.
"I know you won't join us so I won't offer" I say to her when we got to the middle of the compound with Ya Imran still standing by the car and now his attention on his phone. "You're right" she grimaces then points at her own light brown Pontiac Vibe. "That's my ride" she adds. "Of course, see you there" I give her a loose hug before making my way to Ya Imran.
"What's wrong with Fadul?" I try to start a conversation on our way to the Academy. "Don't know" he replied. "She's been weird these day, especially when you're around" I say. "I'm obviously the problem then" he gives me a sarcastic smile and I sigh.
"Keep an eye on her at work please?" I plead. "Her fiancé is capable of doing that, And she's an adult too she doesn't need babysitting. And did you just mention her being weird when I'm around, so I'm probably not the right person" He answers.
This is the longest thing he has ever said about Fadul in months and I don't know if I like it. "Whoa!" I say sarcastically and he ignores me.
"She used to be your favourite cousin, you were so protective of her and the Ya Imran I know will be worried sick about her by now but everything changed with you guys" I try to make out his expression after I said that but zilch, nada! Nothing. It's like he just doesn't care
"If Fadul is the only thing we're going to discuss how about we drive in silence?" He ask and I sigh looking away.
God, I just wish I know what's going on in their heads.

The graduation was the first part of the event which was held in a grand hall and frankly I was not at all interested in all the speech and nonsense. The only good part was getting that certificate and my family cheering so loud I almost felt embarrassed.
