Chapter 47 - "The Fire, the Flood, and the Ring"
Scene: Anatomy Core - Seconds After the Shutdown
Sparks still hissed from the ruined anatomy terminals as Amelia pulled her trembling hands away from the scorched control panel, her armor dimmed from the strain.
"It's done," she gasped. "Their scan-link's fried. They can't track us anymore."
Tony gave a half-laugh. "Remind me never to piss off the Knight of Aurora."
Mida stood with blades drawn, eyes narrowed. "We need to-"
BOOM.
A seismic blast tore open the far wall, sending steel and dust flying like shrapnel. Through the storm of debris, three figures strode into view-power radiating like a pressure wave, silencing the room.
At the center, encased in black-silver armor pulsing with arcane energy, stood Thomas Green, his Ring Dragon insignia burning on his gauntlet-Emperor of the Ring Dragon.
To his right: Alexander, wreathed in armor forged from flame and scorched stone-his eyes blazing with heat, his aura volatile-Emperor of Fire: Sybaris.
To his left: Allen, cloaked in ocean-blue scale-plate, water weaving in spectral patterns around him-Hydra Warrior of the Depths.
Allen smirked, trident dragging across the metal floor with a hiss.
"Well, well. Look who tripped the alarm."
Alexander locked eyes with Mida, flashing a crooked grin.
"Hey, Unicorn Girl. Back for a rematch-or just couldn't stay away?"
Mida's constellation horns shimmered. "You wish."
Tony stepped forward, blades drawn. "She already said no."
But then-Amelia stepped beside Abisai, her voice uncertain, searching.
"Abisai," she asked softly, "What are we now? What do we do... against them?"
The room seemed to still for a beat.
Abisai gripped the hilt of his sword. His eyes didn't waver.
"We fight," he said.
That single word cracked through the tension like thunder.
Thomas stepped forward, raising his gauntlet as reality warped around him.
"I offered you mercy," he said coldly. "Now you'll learn the price of defiance."
In an instant, the three Emperors transformed.
Thomas's armor expanded-the Ring Dragon awakening behind him in a vortex of space and gravity. Rings of silver and violet rotated around his arms, legs, and back, warping space like orbiting satellites. His body flickered-teleporting in bursts, eyes glowing with command over matter itself.
Beside him, Alexander erupted into a column of fire, molten wings of Sybaris flaring from his back, the air around him combusting in ripples of heat.
Allen's body liquefied into flowing water before reforming-Hydra heads spiraling like whirlpools across his armor. With a snap of his trident, waves danced at his heels, his power a crushing tide.
The earth groaned beneath the pressure of their ascension.
Amelia activated her Aurora Core, golden light cascading from her frame like a sunrise at war.
Tony gritted his teeth, flipping his daggers into ready stance.
Mida's eyes pulsed with starlight, blades gleaming like comets.
