Audrey decided that she needed to research the city within the inactive volcano. I allowed it so long as her Grandfather stayed with her to help with any heavy lifting. I have been getting reports from the men stationed around the stones. It's been three months since the first attempt. As of now, there have not been any attempts but Yuri has been pestering me about them. He remained silent for a few days now but I received word that Audrey's father is already back and he came back with company. I stand at the main entrance to the village and spot Yuri, Roy, and Blake along with their aids and Audrey's father. 'what is the meaning of these two coming down?' I frown not liking the implications of their visit. "Oh my! how refreshing it is to be outside of large cities!" Roy chirps looking around the forest. Blake remained silent simply giving me a nod. "You bumbling Oaf!" Yuri quickly runs up to me. 'God damn it. I'd cut his head off if only he wasn't so damned handy.' I turn away from them. "Oh! Kogen my boy! How is Audrey doing!?" Loki runs over to me. I nod "She has been busy with the ancestor's cave." I tell him. He sighs "That girl, I swear she will become a stone trying to get any information out of the ancestor." he groans. I look at him aware he has not been made aware of what we have found. I led them to my office where I am sure they would give me their reason for coming here. "I'll go talk to her for you Kogen! She should be spending more time with her husband." He sighs before leaving. "That man is such a free spirit." Yuri scoffs. I nod "He is unaware of what's been happening." I tell him. Yuri scoffs "To think he is the leader of this minuscule tribe despite the issues they are facing." He sighs. We walk into my office I look at Leo and Idris "Bring some tea." I order. They both quickly leave the room. I stop in front of my desk. "So what are you three doing here?" I ask knowing their visit was no light-hearted affair. I look at the wall behind my desk waiting for them to speak up. "Oh, it's nothing scary! The general just wanted to let you know our next meeting would be postponed." Roy starts. I turn to him "Cut the crap." I call his bullshit. He chuckles "Really that's it." he holds his arms up. I look at Blake and Yuri before looking at Roy again. "If you three are here then it is nothing so useless as a reminder." I showed them the notice to postpone the meeting. Roy chuckles "I can't get anything past you huh." he sighs. "You are right to assume we are not here just to remind you." Blake steps up pulling out some papers from his bag and hands them to me. "Since the attack at the venue and the inn targeting your wife, We have been getting reports of odd movements in the country of Lograin." He tells me. I looked at the documents and saw that 'Lograin and Highrun are creating pacts with each other.' This isn't good. I look at Blake "Aurora has been keeping her men in the areas of interest to get us information." Roy adds. I set the documents down and sit on my cushion ready to hear what they have gotten so far. "Based on some information we gathered their target is this island," Roy gives me the bad news. I set the documents down and looked at him "They are targeting this Island. Why?" I ask. He shakes his head "I don't know why they would target this small Island that is inhabited by us." he answers. "All we know so far is that the leviathans have been seen collaborating with Lograin," Blake tells me. I frown "So that means they have already made their first move." They look at me startled. "Kogen!" I look towards the door hearing Audrey before she walks into the office. Her stomach is already very noticeable in her 19th week of pregnancy.  She seems pale as her eyes land on Roy and the others. She walks towards me letting the doors close. I stand up and rush to her side. "what's wrong?" I ask wrapping my arms around her. She seems out of breath "This isn't good." she whispers "Is something wrong with the children?" I ask. She shakes her head "I asked Don to keep an eye on the outskirts of our Island." she tells me. Her eyes filled with worry. "Why have there been several Lograin-marked ships interacting with the Leviathans?" She asks. The air turns cold as she looks at me. "Why are they trading weapons!? what is going on!?" she asks. I frown unhappy that she has already found something like this out. "They have been trading weapons?" Blake asks. I led Audrey to the sofa so she could rest. "From what Don saw they were trading weapons." she explains. "Is that why they tried to damage My predecessor's tombs!?" she grabs my shirt. I look at her "Has there already been contact!?" Roy asks. I turn to him and nod "About three months ago, Audrey was alerted to the sealing stones being tampered with." I tell him. "Sealing stones?" he asks "Do you mean those unsavory statues you had us put guards around?" Yuri asks. I nod trying to calm the panicked Audrey. She groans pressing her face to my stomach. I noticed the two aura pushing against Audrey's aura. I frown and flare my own wrapping her in my aura. The kids settled down after a few minutes. "why did you do that?" Blake asks. I turn to him "That is not important." Yuri scoffs. "Audrey and I discovered those statutes are petrified Nagas used to seal the ancestor." I explain. Yuri, Roy, and Blake seem taken aback. Audrey takes a deep breath. "why would they want to mess with sealing stones?" Roy asks. Audrey slowly straightens up. "Mister Roy," she huffs trying to recover from the children's outburst. "Do you remember the story I told you about Ancestor Dons World?" she asks. He nods "How could I forget? It's a sad way to end one's life." He answers. She nods "I have found that his world and ours, share completely different stories." she whines as the children once again flare their auras. I pull her onto my lap and coat her in my aura. She leans against me focusing on breathing. "There are similarities in their stories." she huffs. She touches my cheek "Honey mind if I use your aura." she asks. I nod waiting for her to tell me the spell. She tells me the spell in her native tongue and I repeat it. I watch my aura create two worlds. 'this is the same spell the ancestor used before.' She takes a deep breath before starting to explain the history we both learned. She ends the story with the island and the five locations of her family's burials. "The differences also include the fact that Ashthoren my ancestor, shattered his soul to gift his children power to fight for their home." She starts breathing better as the children settle down. "With his soul shattered as it is, if the sealing stones are broken, this world will not have a fighting chance." The images change into a large Naga destroying the world as we know it. "So, is that why they are trying to tamper with the stones?" Yuri asks. Audrey nods "If Ashthoren had not noticed the attempt it would have been dire." she murmurs. "I see so we have come rather late." Roy mutters. Audrey takes a deep breath before she stands up. "I didn't want to involve you in this but, I will need your help." she walks over to Yuri. He looks at her with a scowl. "Yuri, although you are such a pain in the ass, I have seen your work and trust it will be what I need to find a way to form an anchor for a rift." she holds her hand out to him. He looks at her hand "An anchor?" he asks. She nods "I learned from Grandpa that the barrier around the cave used to be made up of Ivory and quarts." she tells him. He looks at her curiously "And? what do you need an anchor for?" He asks. She pulls out a paper from her bag. "I will need your help to extract and transport Ivory, and quartz ore from Don's world to ours." she tells him. He takes the paper. "Pillers, to create a barrier." He murmurs. She nods "I am still looking for the spell used because the old pillars broke when we opened the rift the first time." He tilts his head "And the anchor is to prevent it from?" he asks. Audrey nods "It will help prevent any surges in the aura around the forest." He sighs "Alright, if you need my help that badly you would beg me." he sighs. Audrey scoffs "Beg? Hardly I appreciate you understand the gravity of the situation we are in." she takes the paper from him. "Can I ask why you are creating the barrier?" Blake asks. Audrey looks at him. She nods "The ancestor and I have decided on a plan. We are planning to extend the barrier around the entire Island." she explains. He looks at Audrey "Around the entire Island?" he asks eyes wide. Audrey nods "Yes, Moving the sealing stones would be too risky, and having smaller barriers is too inconsistent." she explains. "Grandpa has a spell that's been working on keeping the seals up to date but I am still looking for the original for him to use." She explains. "In all reality, Grandpa's seals have only been putting a temporary stop to the seal from fully breaking." She frowns "If they degrade any more than they already have, I fear what might happen." she turns to me and sighs. She walks back to me and sits down. "the barrier I had Kogen put on the stones seems to slow time down around the stones." She explains. "It slows the time?" I ask. She nods "I found the spell in Theo's library and it has a more detailed explanation of the spell." She lets out a tired sigh. "I understand what you want to do, may I ask how you came up with the idea to transport Quartz and Ivory from that other world?" Yuri asks. She looks at him "Judging by your face you already know the answer." is all she said. He chuckles "My how cunning you are little girl." He grins. "Kogen, have you been feeding this little girl information?" He asks me. I shrug "She is my wife and the information I shared all relates to her and her tribe." I tell him. I did not step over any rules or break them. He chuckles "I see, so you are aware of the death toll your last little stunt caused." He scoffs. Audrey frowns "Which is why I need you to pull your dick out of your mouth and help." She scoffs. Yuri laughs "I see I misjudged this little girl." He stands up "So where are we going?" He asks. Audrey looks at him "We will go tomorrow morning, it's already getting too dark to climb the path." He sighs "Fine if we are playing this by your book then tomorrow morning we will meet." "The back gate of our house." she cuts him off. He nods "Alright, then I will be there." he sighs. "Audrey you should rest here before you head out." I worry about her moving around so much. She shakes her head "Alma and Hector offered to walk with me to Willeminas house." she points out the door. I chuckle "Getting your hands on training?" I ask. She nods "Yeah she's given birth to three babies! Poor Willemina needs a break." She stands up and takes a deep breath "Don't aggravate the children." I warn her. She giggles "They are simply feeling out their surroundings Kogen, I can't fault them for curiosity." The smile on her face melts the stress I felt the situation we are in seems to have a grip on me. "Alright, just be careful." I warn her. She nods and walks out of the office. "My I never thought I would walk into a pregnant Audrey." Roy chuckles once she is out of earshot. "I don't put it past this Oaf to have locked her in a room." Yuri scoffs. I grin 'That sounds like a good plan but, I want to see my lively wife smile.' I get up and walk to my desk. "Alright, so what is the current plan?" I ask. I don't want to fall behind on any security measures we might need to take. "Before we get to that, Kogen why did you use your aura against the children's aura?" Blake seems stuck on that still. I look at him "Audrey found a good measure to protect a pregnant woman from dying." I state. "A good measure? What has this little girl found that I had not seen!?" Yuri barks. I sigh 'Here we go.' "Audrey found an old method used in the ancient times where aura bonds were used to protect the woman from their children's aura." I explain. "aura bonds!? Those stupid mythical bonds cannot aid in the protection of a woman's life." Yuri grumbles. "Women do not have auras to bond with." He scoffs. "It's hard to say they do not have auras when Madam Zer, Helen, Aurora, and Audrey have aura's aside from that this village seems to have several women with auras." Roy points out. Yuri looks at him trying to argue "If you are so interested in what Audrey found, you should ask her tomorrow and refute all you like, I'm sure she will shove a sock in your mouth." Roy chuckles. He frowns before turning away from him. "Anyways to put it short Blake I am creating a barrier around Audrey and the children to prevent aura shock." He nods "I see." he murmurs. I turn to Roy "We should refocus on the task." I look at Roy.
