The walk down to their home was cold and long. Kogen kept Audrey close so she would not get lost in the forest. They stepped up to the familiar path leading home when Audrey noticed a few girls standing by the main gate. She frowned disliking the sight of these girls at the door of her home. "What are you doing slacking off!?" Kogen barks in annoyance. The girls turned to him and quickly rushed over. "We heard it was your day off today Sir!" They quickly rushed over. Audrey watched the girls stop only a few feet from them. "We wanted to bring you something to eat since..." They stopped talking when Tabitha turned to them her brown eyes watching them curiously. Astrid lets out a whine. "Y... you have.." one of the girls stepped back. Audrey quickly took Astrid from Kogen. "Oh Astrid, it's okay these girls are not dangerous," Audrey assured her daughter. "You lot should get back to your tasks before I send you back to Zeras." Kogen scolds. Audrey carefully rocks Astrid to calm her down. "She's cold honey," Audrey whispers. He nods "We should get inside before she gets sick." He quickly ushers Audrey past the group of girls. Audrey peeks back at the group of girls before sneering at them. 'Ugh if only I had my aura.' She hated how little she could do to ward these flies off. Kogen noticed Audrey's prickly state but said nothing knowing he did not want to be on the receiving end of her anger. They get into the gate "Welcome home." He tells her. Audrey looked at the house in awe. If she thought the old building was large this may be an exaggeration. The house once only being a four-bedroom building has now grown to a five-bedroom building with a large kitchen and living space. The storage room is larger and there is an inner courtyard instead of the open yard it used to be. 'this is...' Audrey followed Kogen as he showed her around. "I made a home office so I can be home as often as I can to help around." he shows her the new office. The old books that Kogen used to have in the library are now inside this office space. Kogen starts walking to show her the rest of the house. Audrey quickly followed after him with Astrid in her arms. The floor is warm and her feet feel so good. The air in the house was also much warmer than the outside air. Her eyes spotted vents high on the walls. 'Did they add an A/C unit?' She wondered as she followed Kogen. "This is our bedroom," He shows her the room. She walks around the room a little sad it did not look like their old room. Kogen opens a door connected to the room. "this is the girl's nursery." He opened the door. Audrey gasped seeing Iris's doll sitting on a shelf along with a few of the other things Audrey had gotten for Iris. She walked in and noticed the missing cribs. "we will have to wait for the others to bring their cribs down but this is their sleeping area." He tells her. Audrey walks around the room finding the large space perfect for the trouble pron twins. "The kitchen is this way." he leads her out of the room. She follows after him not excited to see what else her new home looks like. Audrey walked around the larger kitchen it's got extra storage space and a newer refrigerator along with the old Icebox. The kitchen looks a lot more modern than the old kitchen did. After the tour of her new home, she stepped out onto the catwalk facing out of the house. Her eyes spotted the large pile of dirt that was just outside of the fence. She wondered how much of the house was damaged for it to warrant an entire remodel like this. "It's cold." Kogen wraps Audrey up in his arms. She looks at him and smiles "Hm then stay here." She murmurs enjoying the fresh air of the forest. He chuckles "You've always liked looking at the world." He mumbles. Audrey smiles "Well, what life would I live if I did not see the world?" she asks. He chuckles "A sheltered one." He answers. She nods "And I do not want to be sheltered." She answers. He chuckles "Come inside it's too cold for you." He tells her. She shakes her head "I've been stuck inside for so long honey." she whines. Kogen looks at her and thinks for a few minutes. "How about we have some lunch and then go out to check on the progress?" He asks. Audrey's eyes brighten up "Can we!?" she asks. He nods "As long as you let me carry you." He offers. Audrey panics "But we will be heavy." she answers. He chuckles "You three hardly make up my weight." He answers before leading Audrey back inside. Audrey sat with the girls helping them practice their walking. Kogen took his time to make lunch making sure it was hardy and rich so the cold did not bother Audrey too much. He made some baby food for the girls using some venison as the main protein. He was excited to finally be able to cook for Audrey again. He missed the way she would complement his cooking and stick to him just to learn the method of cooking. His ears are filled with a chorus of Audrey's squeaks and giggles along with Tabitha and Astrids babbling. He took the food to the dining area where Aurday and the twins waited for him. Once he steps into the room a very loveable "Dada!" followed by giggles. Kogen looked at Astrid who crawled over her mother's leg just to get to him. Audrey sat there in cuteness overload. Her mouth is wide and her eyes are teary. "A... Astrid just said!" She lets out a squeak of delight. Kogen sets down the food and quickly picks up the clever little girl. "what did you just say?" he asks in disbelief. "Dada!" Astrid answered his question proudly. He laughs "Thats right!" he hugs the child his heart just about to burst with euphoria. Tabitha starts releasing a string of "Mamamama." Audrey giggled as she gave Tabitha her share of attention. "Oh, Tabby are you trying to say Mama?" Audrey asks. Tabitha giggles before saying "Mama!" Audrey quickly hugs Tabitha "Oh! That's right I'm Mama." she answers. The lunch was filled with cheer as they celebrated their twin daughters' first words. Once the plates were empty and everyone had their fill, Kogen left the room. Audrey picked up the girls and went looking for Kogen after he did not come back. She finds him in the girl's room trying to put on a baby carrier. Audrey set the girls down on the floor so they could play for a bit. "Honey let me help." she giggles. For a few minutes, Audrey and Kogen struggled to figure out how the straps on the carrier worked. Finally, they figured out how to put on the carrier. "We can put Tabitha back here since she is not too prone to getting cold." He tells Audrey. She nods picking up the dozing baby and fixing her inside the harness. Tabitha rests her head on Kogens back ready for a nap. Audrey picks up another harness and fixes it to her chest before picking Astrid up. She carefully fixed her inside the harness "Alright! we are ready to go." Audrey picks up one of Astrid's blankets. They walk to the main door where Kogen holds his arms out. Audrey looks at him unsure of how this would work. She gives in to his ask and lets him pick her up. She holds onto his shoulder as he fixes his arm under her ass. Audrey felt bad for having him carry her and the girls all at once but he looked happy as he walked. She sighed making sure Astrid was well insulated. Audrey was hoping to stretch her legs but this worked too. Audrey took the chance to look around at the damage around the forest on the way to the village. There were so many downed and uprooted trees. She felt bad for how much damage her plan had caused. "Oh! It's Leader Zer!" Audrey's skin pricked hearing the women's voices that called out. She turns to the girls who gathered in the village outskirts. 'why are they all swarming Kogen!?' She felt annoyed. Kogen however did not pay them any attention as he walked past. "The areas most affected are the newer districts." He tells Audrey. She looks at him and nods "Do you mean the bear and Snake tribe residences?" She asks. He nods "A lot of the houses are downhill from the main village," he explains as he walks past a portion of broken shops. Audrey's eyes caught the land that slid from its original place. She frowns as he shows her the construction area where Alma and her tribe helped in the efforts to repair their homes. "Audrey!" Alma shouts quickly rushing over to her. "Alma! how are you doing?" Audrey asks unable to give her friend a much-needed hug. Alma nods "It's slow going but we only need two more houses to rebuild, all we are doing right now is moving the dirt and rubble away from the area." she shows Audrey the working areas. Audrey nods 'An excavator would make this so much faster." she thinks sadly. "The snow is making it harder since the ground is frozen which is like concrete." she sighs. Audrey nods her eyes following the men who started areal fires to thaw the frozen dirt. Audrey nods turning to Kogen "These are just the results of war," He tells her with a soft sigh. "There is no point in fussing over it, just rebuild and start over." he tells her. Audrey nods "How are your twins?" Audrey asks Alma wanting to take her mind off of the mess. Alma smiles "They are doing so good! right now Willemina and her husband are looking after them for me." she explains. Audrey's eyes widen "They are back!?" she asks. Alma nods "Yes, the village people are coming back in small bursts to avoid any accidents." she explains. Audrey looks at Kogen he nods "We can go visit Willemina." He agrees. Audrey smiles excited to see her friends after such a long time. "Alright, could you tell Willemina that I'll be over in about an hour?" Alma asks. Audrey nods "Sure, I'll let her know." Audrey agrees. Kogen nods and starts walking towards Willeminas house. Audrey noticed the girls that followed Kogen following close behind. She frowns 'what do they want.' She grumbles to herself. Kogen didn't pay the girls any attention more focused on his destination. Audrey looks at Kogen happy he wasn't giving these girls the time of day. A devious thought crossed her mind as she started peppering Kogen's cheek with kisses. 'This man is mine.' She thought to herself. Kogen peeks at Audrey curious about what's gotten into her. He cups her cheeks with his free hand catching Audrey's attention. He gives her the sloppiest of kisses he could muster unsure of why she was doing what she did but offering his aid. He releases her lips leaving Audrey a blubbering mess. "W..what... was.. that?" she asks shyly. He chuckles "If you are trying to rile me up keep acting cute." He warns her. She blushes but spots the girls whispering to each other. A devious smile creeps on her face as she leans closer to him. 'We haven't had sex since June.... I could rile him up some more.' She was ready to taunt him now that they had the privacy of their home back. 'This was mainly to make those girls leave but, this is better.' Audrey nips at his ear "HM warning me? Kogen you have no idea how badly I've been craving you." she whispers her taunt. He chuckles "Don't test me Audrey." he warns a little more seriously. Audrey licks his ear "Why not?" she asks so ready to see what his warnings amounted to. Kogen takes in a sharp breath "Audrey, do you want me to lock up back up inside?" he asks. Audrey although she wanted to be a little more free felt her body heat up. "Are you threatening me with a good time?" she purrs. Kogen grins "Do you want to see Willemina? or are you willing to be locked up for another three weeks?" He asks. Audrey giggles "How about after we visit?" she asks. He chuckles "Then stop teasing me." He huffs trying to calm himself down. Audrey shakes her head "Nope, I want to see how good you can restrain yourself." she whispers. Her first objective is lost to the wind as she starts kissing the back of his ear moving down to his neck. Kogen takes a deep breath before letting out a delighted chuckle. Kogen was ready to admit how much he missed Audrey's bold taunts as she slipped her hands under his shirt. Kogen kept his eyes focused on the path to Willeminas house. Once there Audrey stopped her teasing unaware that the group of girls had long fled the area. The younger bears invited Kogen with them to the fire pit where they were cooking up some pork and beef. Kogen left Audrey with the girls so they could go inside to warm up. Once inside Audrey pushed her sexual desire on the back burner seeing the Happy Birthday banners on the walls. "Oh my! Did I make it to the first birthday!?" Audrey asked. Willemina and the others quickly gathered to give Audrey a very long hug. "Audrey! we are so happy Kogen brought you!" Talia cheers. "Was Kogen aware of the party?" she asks. Willemina nods "Yes, I had my husband extend the invitation to him." she answers.
