I felt so relieved hearing that tiny cry protesting its eviction. I hold onto Kogen's arm knowing he is my only lifeline. "the next one is coming Audrey!" Livy warns me. I nod feeling my body urging me to push. I panic when I feel something just isn't right. "Audrey on my say." She whispers. I shake my head 'Their aura is so weak.' I tap Kogen's arm "It's too weak!" I shake my head not wanting to wait for Livy. "They need to come out now." I listened to my body pushing as hard as I could. "Audrey! hold on!" Livy shouts. I shake my head "Their aura is getting too weak!" I shout kicking her off my legs. I get on my knees breathing carefully. Kogen takes my sides and nods "I'll hold you." He assures me. I smile before pushing again. I stopped feeling so panicked at how dangerously low this aura was. I take another breath and lean against Kogen's shoulder staining myself with his blood as I push with the will of a nutsack-tied bull on bull run day. I shake my head 'Please! please!' I hear Livy gasp as I finally get them out. "Hurry! give me a breathing tube!" she shouts. I collapse against Kogen 'Please, be okay.' I wait worriedly for that second little cry. 'Please, Please be okay.' Kogen puts his hand on my head holding me against his bloody shoulder. The sound of his heartbeat becomes deafening the longer this baby does not cry. 'No please, be okay! please be okay,' I feel my heart sink 'Was I too late?' I gasped when a desperate cry shattered the sound of Kogen's heartbeat. "They both made it!" Livy sobs. "Thank goodness," I whisper before passing out.
I thought I would lose another child. I feared for the pain Audrey and I would have to revisit. The fear quickly fades as the child screams in disapproval. I feel Audrey lost her strength as Livy Announced their survival. "Thank goodness," Audrey whispered. I looked at her seeing she'd passed out from the pain of it all. "We will need to keep an eye on the three of them! Kogen, please go out there and fight off the rest of those things." Livy locks eyes with me. I nod "Take care of them." I Lay Audrey down on her pillows seeing the blood she'd covered herself with. I stand up and turn to Ash "I have things to finish." He smirks and opens the rift. "Good job." He pats my shoulder before I step out of the rift. 'Now I need to make sure they do not trample on this Island.' I release my aura once more "Kogen!" I hear Yuri call to me. "Are you done being a lazy Oaf!?" he grumbles. I chuckle "Have you found their leaders yet?" I ask. He chuckles "I have actually." He answers. I nod "Then, we need our men to take down those on the Island, we can handle the leaders." I smirk. He chuckles "Well include me in the fun." Mother speaks up. I nod "This Island, they are not allowed to touch." I ignore the fact that my aura might injure my troops. 'If they know any better if I am going all out they should not be holding back either.'
Ash watched Thoren and Loki chant the spell continuously while the dead helped. The idea to split the spell between three people was a good idea. He looks at the Library where Audrey and the children are resting. 'All that is left is getting rid of the bastards that are risking the lives of this world.' He watched the fight from his place watching as the Leviathans struggled to find their way through the maze. The strongest fighters of his children aided Kogen. "It's been such a long time since I've seen this demon appear." He chuckles. "Sigvard, My friend it seems your children have kept your promise." He smiles as he watches the rapid eradication of the leviathans trying their best to invade. The number of ships was large and the days seemed to drag on. The wisps slowly moved away from the circle reaching their limits outside of the veil. Ash watched Loki and Thoren gradually grow weaker. "Help is on the Horizon!" Ash turns his attention to the ones fighting outside. This war is dragging out too long. He turns to Audrey as she walks out of the Library. 'It's been three weeks since the birth of the children. Autumn is upon us and this war seems nowhere near done.' "I can take over." Audrey steps up to Ash. He nods "I know you can do this." He steps back As she walks up to Loki and Thoren. She looks at Ash "How many are still left on the Island?" she asks. He nods "A troop of 150." He answers. She nods "Then, I can do as I originally planned." she smirks. "what!? Audrey, you are still recovering!" Loki tries to refuse. Ash glares at him "Do onto them as they have done to us." he grins. Audrey walks out of the city to the more spacious outskirts. She draws the first circle as Loki and Thoren hold up the maze. Once she is done with the circle she sits down at the center. She looks up at the bright morning skies "Don can I borrow you?" she asks as she sets the sword onto her lap. "Ash, can I ask for your aid as well?" she asks. He smirks "What is it we are doing?" he asks. She nods "I will put up the barrier, whatever dumbass remains stuck in here will die to our troops." She tells him. He nods "May I ask what role Don will fit into?" he asks. She nods "Sienna?" she turns to the girl as she runs out with a large cart. "I will use Don's body to create the barrier," she tells Ash. Sienna quickly sets down the five scale stones around the circle. "So you will use his aura to infuse the stones?" Ash asks. Audrey nods "I don't know if it will work, but can't rule it out until you try it." she murmurs. He nods "My how cunning." he chuckles. Audrey looks at the stones and starts chanting the barrier set-up spell with Don infusing them with both of their auras. Ash did not move from the circle as the stones started floating up into the air. "To the east, lay the tale of a beast. To the south lay its belly. To the North, its mind sleeps. To the west, its head, at the center of south and west lay its heart." She points her fingers up the stones and quickly rushes to their respective places. Audrey takes a deep breath "Sienna, quickly warn the others." She orders. Sienna nods quickly starting her spell. "Attention all inhabitants of Ezra forest! Be prepared for Project Medusa!" Audrey looks at Sienna curious about the name she put on the spell. Ash looked out at those fighting off the assault "Any members seeking to escape the Island before the barrier is erected do so...." "IN 3!" Audrey shouts Sienna continues the count as Audrey focuses on the spell. "To the east! your travel! To the south you devour, To the north, you rest to the west you remain wary in the southwest you ponder the actions of those who trample!" Audrey chants the spell. Ash watches the stones find their spot in the ground a scarlet Naga body starts from one stone to the next before coming to a complete rest creating a honeycomb barrier. Ash watched Kogen, Olivia, Yuri, and Roy escape the barrier on a ship rushing for the incoming fleets. "Audrey! We have left the barrier!" Kogen alerts. Audrey focuses on the barrier. Loki and Thoren finally found respite after weeks of chanting. Ash looks at Audrey pridefully watching her chant the spell so smoothly. Sienna reopened coms "All remaining Allies! eradicate the remaining troops!" Sienna gives the final order. Audrey chants the spell for two hours before the barrier settles into its place. Ash takes a step closer to her as she falls onto her palms. Her aura is sapped from her body as the barrier settles. Audrey takes a deep breath before she sits back up. "Is this what you always see Grandpa Ash?" she asks her third eye starts bleeding. He nods "This is how I've watched over my people." He tells her. Audrey is amazed by the bird's eye view she is getting. The fights in several parts of the Islands are only visible due to the aura of the government's troops. She looks out into the sea, thanks to Don. She can see past the island and just past the port, where she can see several ships marked with the Highrun and Lograin country flags. She is shocked by how many soldiers they have managed to gather in such a short time. She spots Kogen's aura going berserk in one of the ships. Yuri and Olivia have taken different ships to overthrow. Ash snaps out of his bird's eye view in time to see a man run for Sienna. "Girl! watch out!" he shouts. Sienna snaps her head to the intruder "No aura! They are part of the enemy!" she shouts getting out of the way. "Hold on! Audrey!" Ash turns to the man's target. Ash quickly tries to alert Audrey as she watches the world outside. Sienna grabs the grimoire from the ground and slams the book into the man's face ripping the spine and sending the papers flying. The man stumbles letting go of his gun Audrey snaps back into her body. Her eyes focused on the dim lighting in the cave. The man lifts his gun aiming it at Sienna. "Your aura! create a wall!" Audrey shouts getting onto her numb legs. Audrey had noticed a while ago that Sienna had such a small aura. Sienna closes her eyes as she tries to do as Audrey had told her. Audrey stumbles and struggles to lift her legs as she runs. The man grins "The blood of the Naga will be spilled!" he shouts. Audrey frowns flaring her aura before grabbing Sienna. The man fires away only for the bullets to bounce back at him. He lets out a frustrated growl before lunging at Audrey. She shoves Sienna away from the spot. 'can't let him ruin these papers!' She quickly tackles him back towards the cave opening. He pushes the muzzle of the gun into her stomach. Audrey holds him to the ground "I dare you to try." she taunts as her aura wraps around his body. His eyes widen as he realizes he can't move his body. Audrey takes the gun from his hands and presses it to his forehead. "It's good you snake traitors came to be purged." she shoots multiple bullets into his head. She lifts her eyes to the cave entrance "I need to hide the entrance!" She turns to Ash who is looking at a page on the ground. "I think this will help." He points to the spell. Audrey nods walking over to the page. She picks it up and smirks "An earthquake spell." She murmurs. He nods "This will seal the main entrance and stop anyone from coming in." he tells her. Audrey nods "Stay here, Sienna! take the children to a safe place for now." She orders the startled girl. She nods "Yes Mother!" she quickly turns to do as she is told.
I stand in this now empty ship with nothing but dead bodies. These guys hardly put up a fight without any aura to back up their attacks. I grab onto the railing of the ship as the earth shakes violently. I turned to the Island worried the seal had been broken. My eyes widen as large waves rush for the ships. "oh crap!" I quickly hold onto the ship as it's nearly tipped over. "Kogen!" I hear Roy over the communication spell. "What is it!?" I growl feeling worried about Audrey and the kids. "I don't know what's happening! The island is shaking!" I can hear the men screaming in panic. "Did any of those bastards get near the sealing stones!?" I question as the ship rocks in the large waves. "No! I've made sure to keep those areas well protected!" he answers. I frown looking at the Island as the shaking stops. "Leader!" Sienna connects. "What happened!?" I demand. I can hear the kids bawling in the background. "A Leviathan member made it into the town!" I feel my blood drain hearing her say that. She tries to hush the children from their crying. "Mother chose to seal the main entrance with an earthquake!" I frown "Will you guys be okay!?" I was unhappy that Audrey had only been able to rest for three weeks and she was already up and fighting. "Yes! Elder Thoren and Leader Loki have taken the responsibility to clear out the cave leading to the town!" she tells me. I nod "Have they rested enough?" I ask. The children stop crying suddenly when I feel Audrey's aura flare. "oh no." Sienna whispers. "Kogen! what is going on!?" Roy shouts. The sound of gunfire sends a cold chill down my spine. "Sienna! run!" I hear Audrey shout. "Mother! how did they get in!?" Sienna shouts. Audrey lets out a groan "They found the volcanic mouth!" she answers. "They came from the top!?" Sienna shouts. Audrey groans "Hide." she whispers "Wait, Mother." Sienna protests. "haha so this is the last Naga in this stupid cave? The first two were so easy to kill." The men taunt.
