Chapter 102 – Talent Night

Wayne Academy Silver Island Field Trip – Day 5

After the tangled, tearful embrace, they stayed like that for a while—
three hearts pressed together, breathing in the same quiet.

Like something fragile finally being allowed to rest.

But time, as always, refused to stop for anyone.

And— Clap!

A loud, dramatic clap shattered the peace.

"Well!" Asha announced from across the room, sitting upright as she'd just finished watching a full theater performance. "That was the greatest drama of all time."

She pointed lazily at them.

"My stupid twin brother, my immature adopted brother, and my selfish sister-in-law."

A beat.

Then— They laughed.

Not offended.

Because Asha... was right.

"...Hey, that's not it," Asha added suddenly, frowning at herself. "I'm defective too."

The room quieted slightly.

She crossed her arms, looking away.

"I can't love the way you all do." A small pause. "I like women."

It wasn't dramatic. Just... honest.

Jayson reached out and gently patted her head.

"You still love," he said softly. "Just differently."

He smiled faintly. "And honestly... I'm kind of jealous."

Asha looked at him.

"You get to choose," he continued. "Who do you love. How do you love."

Before she could say anything, He pulled her into a hug.

Asha stiffened for half a second... then melted into it, hugging him back tightly.

From the side, Zatariel gagged loudly.

"Ugh. I can't unsee this. The twins are being affectionate. I need holy water."

Asha immediately let go of Jayson—only to grab Zatariel by the collar and yank him into a hug instead.

"Then suffer with me."

"NO—wait—this is worse—!"

The room filled with laughter again.

Grrrrrrr...

All of them froze.

Slowly, their heads turned toward Miexha. She sat there, hands on her stomach, cheeks turning pink.

"...I'm hungry," she admitted quietly.

They burst out laughing again.

Jayson wiped his eyes, still smiling as he reached for the phone.

"Room service," he said. "Before someone here starves to death."

By the time they finished eating, it was already past 3 PM.

Miexha stood in front of Jayson, hands on her hips.

"You're choosing for both of us."

Jayson blinked. "You let me?"

"Yes," she said firmly. "Mr. Dom."

He hesitated... then sighed in defeat. "...Fine."

Asha immediately pointed at Zatariel.
