Chapter 111: Adventure in the City of Water

Robin, Yushiro and Chopper were now in the city.

They were in front of a postered map, trying to see where they were.

Also, Chopper was in his reindeer form so as not to draw attention to them.

"It says we're in the backstreet shopping district.", Robin stated as she observed the map.

"They call a place this lively the backstreet?", Chopper muttered.

Then, the trio walked away from the map.

"So they have places that we can walk around, huh?", Yushiro said. "Anyway, the water is very clear."

Robin smiled at him. "You're right. And the town is beautiful."

"Yeah.", Chopper agreed with them as they all looked around.

Then, Chopper saw a person wearing a creepy mask and got scared.
"Scary!!"

As they were walking, tons of men fawned over Robin's beauty and women fawned over Yushiro's cuteness.

"What a beautiful lady!"

"Such beauty hasn't been seen for the last 100 years!!"

"That boy is so cute!"

"Right?! Do you think he's her kid?"

"I mean, they're both beautiful!"

The trio just ignored them and walked ahead, until Robin spotted a stall full of creepy masks and halted, the other two doing the same.

"Whoa! What's that?", Chopper exclaimed.

"That's a mask shop.", Robin explained.

Then, they continued their stroll.

"I've noticed people are walking around in town wearing those masks.", Yushiro stated.

"Oh, so they're wearing them, huh? I thought those were weird faces.", Chopper sighed, relieved.

Yushiro giggled at Chopper's thought and Robin smiled at both of them.
"It sounds like they're holding a costume carnival every day right now on San Faldo, an island you take the sea train to get to."

"Eh?", Chopper made a comfused sound as he looked at her. "How come you know that?"

"People walking by are talking about it.", Yushiro explained as he pointed to his ear.

"I'm surprised that you can hear them, Robin. As for Yushiro.... not that much.", Chopper commented.

"It's a habit.", Robin answered and Yushiro paid close attention to what she was saying.
"Since my childhood, I've lived by trying to judge people's feelings amd listening in on them."

"You're amazing, Robin.", Chopper said with his jaw hanging. "What about you Yushiro?"

"Hm? Oh... well, I can't really not hear what others are saying.... My sense of hearing is enhanced and i can't turn it off...."

"That must suck....", Chopper said.

Robin stopped looking around as her eyes landed on a bookstore. "Doctor..."

"Hm?"

"Over there. There's a bookstore."

"Really?!", he exclaimed and ran off as quickly as he could. "Can we stop by here?!!"
