Chapter 114: Town in a frenzy?! Iceberg targeted!

Yushiro was on the rooftop of an inn they had settled in.

Zoro, Chopper and Sanji were also there.

He looked around and spotted Luffy situated in the top of a nearby tower.

He had tucked his arms around his legs, his face hiding in them.

He still wasn't over the events of last night.

No one was.

Yushiro still felt bad about slapping Luffy and wanted to apologize, so he made his move.

He braced his legs on the railing of the building and jumped high into the air, landing like a cat next to his little brother.

He then sat down next to him and hesitantly spoke up.
"Hey, Luffy..... I just wanted to--"

"I forgive you.", Luffy cut him off since he knew what Yushiro was about to do. "You did it on impulse. I know you didn't mean it."

Yushiro frowned sadly. "But... I still hit you..... Did it hurt....?... "

Luffy rubbed his cheek a bit. "You're strong,...of course it did..."

Yushiro's head hung low in shame. "Sorry...."

Luffy gave him a small smile. "It's ok... It's been a while since i had a lecture from you."

Yushiro noticed that he was trying to make a joke, but didn't laugh.

His whole expression screamed sadness and guilt. "You know I don't blame you, right?"

Luffy frowned at that and laid his head on his older brother's lap. "Of course i don't. Don't be so nervous. I'll always believe in you and love you."

Yushiro seemed like he didn't know what to do with his hands, but ....

He did what he always has done.

His fingers went through the soft curls of Luffy's hair and tried to calm himself down, his eyes closed.

He could feel Luffy's stare on him, so he opened his eyes and returned the look.

Luffy was frowning for some reason, which made Yushiro nervous.
"W-What.. ? Did... I do something...wrong....?"

Luffy sat up and stared at him with an unreadable expression. "You're paler than usual... and...", he looked at his brother closely and noticed his now dark purple eyes.

They were supposed to be violet.

He narrowed his eyes. "You.... Didn't I say to tell me when you're hungry?"

Yushiro's eyes widened. "But....  this is not the right time to be worried about my urges..."

Luffy instantly squashed Yushiro's cheeks together and gave him a stern look. "What're you talking about?! You're the most important thing to me right now! If you're hungry you should eat!", he lectured him and didn't wait for an answer as he shoved his arm in Yushiro's mouth.

Yushiro bit it by instinct, but realized what he had done and tried to take the arm away but Luffy wouldn't let him.

Luffy gave him a bonk on the head. "Drink."
