Chapter 98: The Sacrificial Altar

It's because i have started my english lessons and i start school in like 4 days

Well, since it was my birthday yesterday, i found time to gift you guys a chapter!😸

"That damn Super-Express Lobster deserted us here..."

Yushiro observed his surroundings, trying to get a good idea of where they were.

Merry-chan was abandoned on top of some altar in the middle of the island he and Nami had come across.

"It's almost as if this is a sacrificial altar....", Robin assumed.

Chopper waddled over to Yushiro with a curious expression.
"Yushiro, what's a sacrifice?", he asked.

"It means being offered to God while you're alive.", he answered simply.

"Oh, that's all?", Chopper sighed relieved. "I thought it meant being boiled alive or something."

"Well .....", Yushiro turned thoughtful. "I guess it is something like that. Anyway, whatever the method, your life is given to God."

Chopper freaked out at his statement.
"EH?! DOES THAT MEAN WE'RE GOING TO BE KILLED?!", he screeched.

Chopper panicked and that almost caused him to fall off the railing, and topple down towards the ocean below the altar.

Robin sprouted limbs from the final step of the alter, successfully using them to catch Chopper before he could fall into the water and drown.

Everyone was relieved until a huge shark surfaced from the water, swimming towards Chopper with its mouth open.

Before it could reach Chopper and gobble him up, Zoro flew towards it with his 3 drawn swords, and cut the top of its snot.

He fell into the water alongside the shark, engaging in a fight with it where he was at a disadvantage.

Yushiro hesitated, but stood in his place.

He knew that Zoro could take care of himself, so he stood still in his place and waited for him to come out of the water.

The skyshark jumped out of the water with Zoro in its mouth, currently winning the fight against him.

It fell back in the water, creating a huge splash.

It was back to being impossible to see what was going on again.

"H-He went under again!"

"Do you think.... he got eaten?"

"AHH! ZORO WAS EATEN!!"

"No, if he was eaten the clouds would turn red.", Yushiro said flatly. "Right, Robin?"

She just smiled at his crude comment. "You're right."
