Chopper burst out of the cabin and jumped onto the railing. "Hey!! Usopp woke up!!"
"Really?! Good!!", Luffy cheered happily.
However.... Yushiro and Nami looked at each other with solemn expressions.
"Let's see how badly he'll react...", Nami squeezed Yushiro's shoulder in comfort.
"Yeah...", Yushiro nodded as he patted Nami's hand.
With that, they all went towards the cabin and settled down.
Usopp was sitting up on the bed, his head hung low as his friends lectured him on his recklessness.
"Seriously, don't worry us so much!", Nami huffed out as she shook her head, clearly disappointed.
"She's right.", Sanji agreed as his put his hands in his pockets. "To think that you marched in by yourself... That was too reckless."
"Think a little before you act.", Zoro joined in on the lecturing.
"Look who's talking.", Sanji huffed.
Yushiro signed before sitting down next to Usopp, putting a comforting hand on his shoulder. "Don't put yourself in danger like that ever again.", he told the latter with a frown on his face.
Usopp trembled before answering. "Just because i'm so good-for-nothing.....", he finally spoke up as he avoided eye-contact with all of them. "I'm sorry..... Really.... I'm ashamed you guys...!", he sobbed as he hugged Yushiro extremely tightly, clinging onto him.
Yushiro's eyes widened, clearly surprised, he pat Usopp on his back, trying to soothe him.
"That money was so crucial to us.... and yet I.... I let it.... I let it...But.... the huge amount of money we got... after all that we went through....", he stopped ranting for a moment, unclinging himself from Yushiro.
He thought about the concequences of losing the money and his head hung even lower. "Then, as I was afraid.....the money won't come back...?..", he asked, his voice quivering.
