Toni stood in front of her mirror in her part of the closet as she finished putting on her lotion, cologne and deodorant. She had on her pants, undershirt and socks as she fixed her hair. Janet had learned how to retwist because she didn't like the girl Toni went to. Even after Janet was pregnant and they were married, the girl still tried to flirt with Toni. So Janet studied and practiced until she perfected it.

Coming out of the closet, she saw Janet at the edge of the bed with an ironing board lowered for her to press Toni's shirt. She went over and gave her a small kiss. "Good morning, baby. How you feeling?"

"Much better today. I'm going to do some walking and light exercises to get the baby to move down."

"Don't over exert yourself."

"I won't. I'll be careful."

"Good. Here let me finish that."

"No, baby. I got it. I like ironing your clothes." She smiled. "Plus, I'm done. Can you move this?" Toni turned off the iron and moved it. Janet stood up and lightly shook the shirt.

"Beautiful. Thank you."

"You're welcome." Janet helped Toni put her shirt on then did the same with her suit jacket. Toni turned around and smiled at Janet. "You look very nice. I'm so excited for you." Toni chuckled and grabbed her watch off the nightstand and put it on.

"Sweetie, I've been working at the company for almost a month now."

"I know, but it's still so exciting. You wanted to change and you did just that."

"I had to do what was best for you and now I'm happy I did, because our children will reap the benefits." Toni held the sides of Janet's belly.

"I really love you and thank you for being there for me. For giving me a child, a family." Janet smiled and placed her hands on top of Toni's.

"Thank you for your love." Toni placed her forehead on Janet's. They just stood in a bit of silence. "Oh. Did you feel that?"

"I did." The baby had kicked again.

"Oh.."

"Wow, again. Come sit down." Toni helped Janet sit on the bed and sat next to her as they continued to feel her belly. As they felt the baby kick, Janet just felt a wave of emotions.

"Toni, I'm nervous." She took a breath. "What if I mess up? I'm going to be home with the kids. I don't want to mess up."

"Sweetie, you're not alone. You're my wife. We're a family. You don't have to go through anything alone." Janet felt tears come to her eyes.

"I'm just scared. The baby is going to be relying on us for everything. What if I teach them the wrong things?"

"Don't borrow trouble. Focus on the here and now then we'll face the challenges together." Janet nodded.

"I'm sorry for freaking out. The doctor said the baby could come any day now and it's really hitting home that one day when we enter this room, a baby will be with us. Our baby. Something we can't return. For the rest of our lives we'll be parents and it's just scary."

"I know, but we got this." Toni kissed her and hugged her. Janet's head rested against Toni's chest and just let her emotions out as she cried.

Katherine, who had come up to let know her know that her car was pulled around, quietly closed the door back to give the young couple some privacy. Going back downstairs, she finished helping Joseph get ready. "Is Toni on her way down?" He asked.

"Not yet. Her and Janet are having a private relationship moment." He made a face.

"Ewww."

"Not that kind of moment. It's an emotional moment."
