"So as you can see the growth percentage for the previous quarter, our sales have increased well past the projected target." Toni stood in front of the screen. "We predict that with the same tactics with slight modifications, we can increase our profits three times over by next year."
"And how do you think we should allocate the new earnings?" asked Joseph. "We have several departments that need increased funding."
"I believe we'd do good by increasing funding to our data entry department as well as HR. Those two departments are necessary for the growth of the company. If they go down, the company will have a hard time recovering."
"Then that's what we'll do. Lauren, make a note of that."
"Yes, sir." Lauren wrote the note down in her book and went back to looking out the window.
"Are there any more reports from the senior staff?" Joseph asked.
"No." They shook their heads.
"Then the meeting is adjourned. I'll have Lauren send everyone the notes from today." Everyone stood up and left out. Lauren dragged behind Joseph as he left out. Tim and Toni headed back to her office.
"Man, Toni, you've been killing it lately. These last few weeks you've been on your game. Everything's been perfect and moving so well. What's your secret?" Toni chuckled.
"A supportive and sexy wife." Tim laughed.
"I get that."
"How's the wedding planning for you and Toy going?"
"It's going okay. It's a little harder. Tammy's a lot more work now that she's bigger."
"How's my niece?"
"That girl is crawling everywhere and getting into everything." Toni laughed. "Don't laugh, you're a few months away from that yourself, my guy."
"You're right." They made it to Tim's desk and leaned against it. "She's four months now and she's definitely a character."
"I definitely believe that."
"So, me and Janet are back...doing the do, right. It's like she has this radar the minute we bout to get it in. All of a sudden she starts screaming." Tim laughed.
"And now whenever Janet's holding her and I go to kiss her, she hits my face."
"She doesn't want you on her mother. You better keep them lips to yourself." They laughed. "I have a feeling that your daddy's girl is a mommy's girl."
"That's only cause she says from Janet's chest."
"Dude. Chill out. That girl loves her mommy."
"She does. She does. I'm not mad though. They're cute."
"Yeah." Tim nodded. "Tammy and Toy are like that too. Oh, by the way are yall coming out with us for the party?"
"What party?"
"We're celebrating Toya's business making it first million."
"Wow, that's great. I know how hard she was working at that."
"Yeah. I'm proud of her."
"I'll check with Mama Kat and see if she and Joseph can watch Gabby."
"They probably will because they're watching Tammy."
"I'll still ask."
"Got you."
"Hello, Toni." They rolled their eyes. Tim went to sit behind his desk.
"Why are you always coming over here?" Jenna giggled.
"Toni, stop playing like that."
"Do you have an appointment with Ms. Braxton?" Tim stared at Jenna.
