"Baby." Toni groaned as she felt kisses all over her face. "Toni, baby. Wake up."
"Mmmm...just a few more minutes." Janet whined.
"But then you have to leave." She felt her climb on top of her and kiss her face. Toni sighed and opened her eyes. Janet looked back at her with a big smile. "Good morning."
"Good morning." Janet pecked her lips.
"Ahhh!" Toni looked to the side and saw Gabby pulling herself up on the headboard. She found a way to more over and landed on Toni's face.
"Good morning to you as well." She sat up and kissed Gabby's cheeks causing her to laugh. Sitting up fully against the headboard, Toni held Gabby as she squeezed her nose. "Why you messing with my face?" Gabby hit Toni's face. "Ow." Janet laughed.
"She's always abusing you."
"It's cause I'm always kissing her Mommy."
"Well, you're allowed too." Janet leaned in to kiss Toni again and Gabby screamed.
"I don't think I am." They laughed and Janet grabbed Gabby.
"Don't be mean to your Mama." Gabby laid on Janet's shoulder. She climbed off of the bed and went to the small fridge they had in the room and began warming up a bottle for Gabby. "I'm going to go change her."
"Okay." Janet left out and went into the nursery. Now that she was bigger, Gabby slept in her room more often. There were still nights that she slept with Janet and Toni, but they wanted her to learn how to sleep in her own bed.
"Alright, stinky girl. Let's get you cleaned up." Janet took off Gabby's onesie and dirty diaper. Ever since she started incorporating solids into her diet, Gabby had been having messier diapers. She didn't have a lot of blowouts, but there were a lot of times that it got all over her bottom. This resulted in Gabby having a rash on, so Janet had to always be very thorough with cleaning her.
Once Gabby had a fresh diaper on, Janet picked her up and went to her closest. "What should we dress you in today?" Gabby babbled. Janet grabbed a cute red dress with tights. "Do you like this? Or...." She picked up a yellow dress with leggings. "..do you like this?" Gabby reached for the red dress. "Red it is." Janet put the other outfit back and took Gabby back to the changing table to dress her. "Look at you, pretty girl." Gabby kicked her legs in excitement. "Yeah."
Janet put Gabby's dirty clothes in the bin and went back to her room. Toni by now had made the bed and straightened up a little. She was now in the shower. Janet grabbed the bottle she had set out and tested it before giving it to Gabby. She propped it up with one hand and headed into the closet to pick out clothes for her and Toni for the day.
Going through the closet, she picked out a maxi dress and jean jacket for herself with a pair of gold sandals. She sat it on the bed and went back in. For Toni, she picked out a dark blue suit with a cream collared shirt. Toni didn't wear a tie unless absolutely necessary. She grabbed her black dress shoes and sat everything on the bed.
Gabby had finished eating, so she sat the bottle back down and cleaned her face before grabbing her hair stuff. She had decided to start doing Gabby's hair more often because of how fast it was growing. Janet didn't do too much with her hair because she didn't want to pull on it, so she often just refreshed the curls. She lightly sprayed Gabby's hair and worked the baby products in her hair. Since this was a daily thing, it didn't take long for her hair to cooperate. Her curls came through instantly. Janet brushed her edges a little before wiping her hands clean. "All done."
She stood Gabby on her lap and looked at her. "Why the mad face?" Gabby's face was twisted as she frowned. It wasn't surprising, Gabby didn't like getting her hair done. "You look so pretty." Janet kissed her cheeks and hugged her. Gabby rubbed her face. "I'm sorry."
