Toni stood at the stove as she moved the food around in the skillet. She and Janet had made it to Anguilla the day before and it was definitely blissful. As another surprise, Toni had rented out an entire house for them, right by the beach. Janet loved it and spent so much time just looking out the windows at the view. Toni was happy to put a smile on her face.
Turning the skillet on the bacon down, she began to whisk the eggs and mixed up the pancake mix. She had soft music playing as she worked in the kitchen. She wanted to shower Janet with love on this trip. After learning that she felt insecure and ignored by her, Toni was determined to prove her wrong. She loved Janet with everything in her and she would spend her entire life proving it, if that's what it took.
"Mmm, it smells good in here." Toni turned around and smiled when she saw Janet.
"Good morning, beautiful." She went around the counter and gave her a kiss. "How are you feeling?"
"Very good."
"I'm sure you are." Janet smiled. Toni reached under the oversized shirt that Janet had on and squeezed her butt. Janet wrapped her arms around Toni's neck.
"You were so amazing."
"I know. You told me over and over and over...." Toni kissed on Janet's neck causing her to laugh. "....you couldn't get enough."
"I still can't." Toni chuckled.
"You hungry?"
"Yeah."
"Good. I got some good eats for you." She pecked her lips one more time. "Sit down." Janet sat at the island and watched Toni work into the kitchen. She pulled her messy hair into a bun with the scrunchie that was on her wrist. As she watched Toni, she took in all the small things she loved about her. The way she moves her nose when she's focused, how she slightly moves her shoulders when something is done right. How she smirks to herself when something tastes good.
She even took in her physical attractiveness. Her arms, her abs, her hands. Toni had the best hands. But overall, the way her dick laid in her pants. It was something about it. The way it was just there. She didn't make it a big deal and she didn't try to make it the forefront of anything. It was just there. Waiting to do whatever needed to be done and it seemed like it only worked when Janet wanted it to. That turned her on. Knowing that there wasn't anyone else that can do for Toni for she does for her. "You look so good cooking for me, daddy." Toni turned and smiled.
"Oh yeah."
"Yeah. I'm gonna need to work off the meal later."
"We ain't even ate yet."
"So, it's important to stay active." Toni chuckled at Janet's behavior.
"Looks like someone is definitely getting back to their old self." She took the pancakes out of the skillet and poured more batter in.
"I am. I mean, I love our little girl, but there are moments I miss who I was before her. I wasn't so.....afraid of everything and I had so much more drive in me. Now it feels different."
"That's only because we're seven months in. I'm sure once we get into a better routine and you fully recover, it'll work out."
"Yeah." Janet sighed. "My mind is just so different. I'm not used to it."
"I bet, but we got this, babe." Toni leaned over and gave Janet another small kiss. "Now, are you ready to eat?"
"Yes." Janet bounced in her seat as Toni made their plates. She put the dirty dishes in the sink and sat next to Janet.
"Your plate, my love." Janet smiled and grabbed her fork. She took a bite of the pancakes and immediately sighed in satisfaction.
"Mmmm...this is so good." Toni smiled and began eating.
"Have you talked to the princess yet?"
"No. I was going to call a little later."
"I have a day planned for you, so let's call her now."
"What do you have planned?" Toni smirked as she went onto her phone. "Don't play like that."
"Just be surprised, boo." She clicked in Mama Kat's number and waited for the video to pop up.
"Helloooo..."
"Good morning, Mama Kat."
"Good morning. How's Anguilla?"
"Beautiful. You should see the ocean here."
"I bet it is." She chuckled. "Now why are y'all interrupting me and my grandbaby's breakfast?"
"Her mommy missed her." Toni turned the phone to Janet.
"Hi, mother."
"Hi, sweetie. I guess I can let you see your child." Katherine turned her phone. The camera landed on Gabby who had a face covered in syrup and eggs.
"Mother! Why is she such a mess?"
"We had breakfast and she wanted pancakes and eggs."
"She can't talk fully yet."
"She can't talk to yall. She talks to me. Ain't that right, Gabby?" Gabby around and squealed.
"Hi, princess." Gabby looked around at the sound of Janet's voice before her eyes landed on the phone. She leaned in and smiled. "Yeah, you having a good breakfast with Grandma?" Gabby kicked her legs and reached for the phone.
"Ah! Ma Ma." Janet smiled.
"I miss you." Janet blew kisses. Toni turned the phone back to her.
"Hey, lil mamas." Gabby screamed when she heard Toni's voice. "I know. I'm your favorite. Your mommy is jealous." Janet hit Toni's shoulder. "Mama's gonna have to bring you here to swim when you're older."
Gabby moved the phone around in excitement. "I love you." Toni brought the phone to her face and blew a kiss. Gabby copied her.
"Aww, Gabby. You got syrup all over the phone." Katherine took the phone back to wipe it off and Gabby started crying. "Hey, hey. Here." Katherine gave her something and she stopped crying.
"What did you give her?" Janet asked.
"Don't worry about it." Katherine laughed. "I'm joking. I just gave her the bottle."
"How much has she had?"
"I'm following your little schedule. So she's had three so far."
"Okay."
"Well, I'll let yall get back to your vacation. Love yall."
"Love you too." They hung up.
"You feel better?" Toni asked Janet.
"I do."
"Good. Now finish up so we can get going."
