Janet sat in the private hospital room with her father and Toni as they told them what happened. "So..." she tried to catch her breath. "....m..my baby is gone?"

"Mrs. Braxton, I'm so sorry. We're going to do everything and I do mean everything we can to find your daughter." The police touched her shoulder.

"Umm..." she cleared her throat. "...alive."

"Excuse me?"

"You're going to find her....alive." She looked at the cop. "Right? You'll find my baby and she won't be dead." The cop was stuck. No one had ever asked that question and he didn't know how to answer it.

"Well, I'm not going to lie to you, Mrs. Braxton. We always tell people to prepare for both outcomes, but given the information we collected, we should have a very good start on where to look." Janet nodded. She looked back at the floor and didn't blink. For some reason, she couldn't process anything and didn't express any emotion. She was just stuck.

"Okay. I understand."

"I'm going to have the detectives come and speak to you when you guys are ready."

"Alright." The police officer got up and left the waiting area. Toni and Joseph looked at Janet. She was still in the same position. She wasn't sitting back in the chair, but was sitting up and just looking at the floor.

"Janet." Toni rubbed her back. "Baby." She turned and looked at Toni. Joseph touched her hand.

"Sweetheart, I know this is scary and you don't know what to think, but......we're going to pray and we're going to..." Janet looked at her dad and tried to breath. "We're going to do whatever we can to..." Suddenly, Janet started screaming.

"Ahhhhhhh!" Her face held no emotions and she didn't blink. She just screamed. Joseph and Toni sat back in shock. Janet didn't take a breath or move for what felt like minutes. All she did was scream.

When she stopped she looked at Toni. "Baby..." she took a deep breath. "Talk to me." When she released her breath, she broke down.

"Oh my god." She hunched over. Toni tried to hug her but she pushed her away and stood up. "No. No. No. No." she started pacing the room. Toni tried to get her and get her to sit down.

"Janet, sit down."

"No!" She became angry. "Someone took my baby. Ahhhh!" She began picking things up and throwing them. She flipped the tables that were in the room and knocked over chairs and plants. Joseph and Toni knew that Janet had snapped. So much had happened to her and for this to happen while she was going through postpartum was a major hit. "I want my baby!" She screamed and threw anything she could find. "I want my baby!"

"Janet, baby...."

"Ahhhhhh!" The police officer along with some nurses and a doctor came into the room. When they saw what happened they had to stop her.

"Hernandez!" The officer called his partner and they both tried to grab Janet. The doctor had given the nurses some instructions on what to do. They left and came back with a gurney, some restraints and some medication. "We got her."

"Lay her down." They laid her on the bed and the nurses held her legs while another took the needle and filled it with the medication the brought.

"Ahhhhh! Let me go! Let me fucking go! Get off me!" She screamed at the top of her lungs. They held her head as the nurse pushed the medication into the side of Janet's neck. "Nooo! No! N....hmmm." Janet stopped her movements. They put the straps on her arms and legs.

"Okay, get her in a private room and let's get someone from psych." The doctor spoke and the nurses wheeled her away in the gurney.

"What's going to happen to her?" Toni asked.
