Toni moved around the room as she cleaned up clothes, diapers and trash. Things had been very hard at home recently ever since she found Janet laying in the bed watching Gabby. Ever since then, she refuses to sleep, even when the baby is sleeping, she just watches her. She was going on four days without fully sleeping. A few times Toni caught her dozed off while feeding her and would just leave her be, because she knew how Janet would react. Other than that, Janet was not sleeping.

Toni had decided to continue working remotely, to be home with Janet. It was good being the daughter in law to the owner of the company. Along with that, Tim was her assistant now, so they could both work from home, plus was in the office for anything they needed there. She was more than happy to help when she heard about Janet. Not many people knew what was going on because Toni didn't want them in their business, but those who did know, were more than happy to help.

After a half hour, Toni had gathered all of the dirty laundry, trash and diapers. She separated the laundry to be washed and set the bags by the bedroom door before feeling the garbage bag with all of the trash.
"Janet." She groaned.

Going over to the bed, she sighed and shook Janet. "Stop." Janet whined. Toni pulled the covers back a little and saw Janet laying on her side, holding a sleeping Gabrielle close to her chest. While the baby was cleaned and well taken care of, Janet was disheveled. She had not combed her, washed her face, or eaten. She even kept on the same night gown, only changing her underwear when she washed up. "What is it?" Toni sat down.

"I'm going downstairs to take out the trash and start the laundry, do you need anything?"

"Water."

"Nothing to eat?"

"No. I need water."

"Well, it's good you're at least drinking water."

"It's not for me. It's for Gabby. The doctor said I can add a little water to her bottles."

"What about you?"

"I'm fine." Janet watched Gabby sleep. She gently rubbed her face and kissed her forehead.

"Okay. I'll be back."

"Alright."

"I love you." Janet started crying.

"I love you too." Toni wanted to comfort her, but that hasn't been working lately. She gave her a gentle kiss on her cheek and covered her back up. Grabbing the garbage bag and the first load of laundry, she left the room and headed to the kitchen to throw the garbage away then to the laundry room.

Once all of that was done, she sat down at the kitchen table and just held her head back. So much was happening with Janet and she was trying her best to be the best supper system she could, but it was hard. Seeing Janet in this condition was hard for her. Janet was such a bright spirited person, always happy and smiling. To see her not taking care of herself was hard.

"Hey." Bringing her head back down, she saw Joseph come into the kitchen.

"Hey." She sighed.

"How's it going?"

"Not good. She brushed her teeth though."

"That's good." He sat down across from her.

"How's it going for you?" Joseph sighed.

"She keeps crying. She won't get out of bed either."

"We both going through it."

"Yep."

"What's wrong with Mama Kat?" Joseph let out a shaky breath.

"Some last things are haunting. Haunting both of us really, but it's harder on her."
