"Alright, detective. Okay. Thank you so much." Joseph spoke on the phone. "Please keep me updated." He smiled. "Alrighty. God bless." Joseph hung up the phone and looked at everybody.
"So?" Katherine asked.
"The evidence has been given to the judge and there is a warrant out for her arrest. Every police station in the area has been notified and her picture is everywhere just in case she tries to run when they come for her." Toni looked at Janet and smiled. "And Jenny...you officially have no charges against you..." She smiled.
"But..."
"The detective said that the judge took into consideration your willingness to help with the investigation and the fact that you gave up the location of your sister." Jenny felt herself relax. "And...the judge said she's going to make sure you get full rights to your daughter back." She immediately had tears falling from her eyes.
"Really?"
"Yeah. You, Dani and Daniel will be able to move forward. And when all of this is over, you guys can stay in the guest house or we can help you find a place..."
"We...already have a place."
"Really?" She nodded.
"Where?" Katherine asked.
"With Janet and Toni when they....." She looked at Janet and Toni who were looking away. "...oops."
"When they what?" asked Joseph. He and Katherine looked at them. Toni poked at Janet and she hit her.
"Stop..."
"Janet. Toni. What's going on?" Janet chuckled.
"Let's not talk about us. Jenny, are you going to tell Daniel about..." Jenny shook her head and sat back. Janet squinted at her and Jenny covered her mouth. She shook her head again.
"No, you got it."
"This is your fault." said Toni. She hit Jenny's arm.
"Stop." Jenny punched her shoulder.
"Someone speak up." said Katherine. They stopped and looked at Joseph and Katherine.
"Janet and I are moving."
"Where? We didn't even know you guys were looking for apartments."
"Well....that's the thing. The housing is provided by...the company."
"Whose company?" asked Joseph. Toni looked down. Joseph chuckled lightly when he realized. "You're taking the expansion job." I shook his head. "I knew there was a reason none of the others on the executive team applied. Why didn't you guys tell us?"
"We were scared and.....we didn't want to hurt you." said Janet. "I mean...Gabby loves you guys and I know what she means to you, but...."
"You want to start your own lives." said Katherine.
"Yeah." She sighed and sat next to Janet.
"Sweetie, I would never be upset with you guys. I'm so proud of what you two have accomplished. You didn't let having a child or anything stop you from reaching your goals. Janet, you'll be graduating college in two years, maybe less. Toni, you got your record clear, finished school and you're a top notch executive. Not to mention, yall are an amazing couple. You love and respect each other and Gabby is an example of how your love grows. We're proud of you." Janet held back tears.
"But...I..."
"I'm going to miss you being here too. We'll make it work."
"We'll be like four hours away."
