"Katherine." Joe rubbed her arm. "Wake up." She groaned. "Kathy." He touched her face.
"Mmm...stop it, Joseph." She swatted his hand. He chuckled and leaned close to her face.
"I have something for you." She turned on her back and looked at him.
"What is it?" He smirked. "Joseph, I'm tired."
"I know you want it."
"I did. Last night and we did. Now I'm tired." Joseph eased his hand under the covered and Katherine sat up. "You're not slick. Stop it." He smirked.
"Fine." He reached over on his nightstand and grabbed a small gift bag. "Merry Christmas." He handed it to her. Katherine sat up against the headboard.
"We don't open gifts until later tonight and Christmas is tomorrow."
"I know, but we won't see each other much tomorrow and all the kids will be here tonight. This is more personal." Katherine smiled and owned her present. Inside was a little tape.
"What's this?"
"This is all of our videos of Junior." Katherine froze.
"I thought those got lost in the move."
"The copies did, but I was going through some boxes in the basement and found the originals. I had them enhanced and put onto this tape and a backup tape. Now you can go back and see him the way you wanted." Katherine wanted to cry.
"Did you want them?"
"Yes. There's a video of him saying he loves you. Very clearly." Tears fell down her face.
"Why you got me crying?" Joseph chuckled.
"I just wanted you to have it. J didn't want to give it to you in front of the kids because I knew your reaction would.....strong. I wanted you to be able to have your moment in private." Katherine leaned up and kissed him.
"Thank you."
"You're welcome. That's not all though." He grabbed a ring box off his nightstand. "I also found our original wedding rings in one of the old jewelry boxes. I had them cleaned up and repaired." He opened the box and Katherine's mind was instantly flooded.
"Oh my god. I remember when you gave me this." She took the box. "It was graduation day and you proposed to me in front of the ice cream place where you first told me you loved me."
"And where we....first....loved each other." Joseph smirked causing Katherine to laugh.
"You're so nasty. I can't believe we did it in a car." Joseph sat up and twisted his face.
"I wasn't just a car. It was a truck. I tricked out the back and everything to be comfortable for you.
Because if I remember correctly, someone was scared to go to the hotel like we planned out of fear that someone would tell her mother." Katherine laughed.
"That's true. And she found out anyway because someone decided to mark up my neck." Joseph leaned in.
"You liked it."
"I did." They leaned in and shared a small kiss. Katherine rubbed the side of Joseph's face. "I love you, honey."
"I love you too."
"Toni, stop it." Janet groaned as Toni kissed her neck. "Stop it."
"Mmmm...you smell so good in the morning." Janet turned onto her back and looked at Toni.
"Thank you." Janet rubbed Toni's face and pulled her down for a small kiss. "Good morning."
"Good morning, my love. Merry Christmas."
