As Jess left the holding cell, she was immediately swarmed by her friends and brother. Olivia moved closer, asking with nervousness, "So? How did it go?" and everyone else nodded in anticipation for the sister's answer.

"He's willing to talk," Jess spoke carefully. Everyone exhaled in relief except for Isa, who was deep in thought, also moving closer and resting her hand on her niece's shoulder. "How did you do it? What did he say to you?"

"I understood him," said the girl with caution, choosing her words carefully to avoid mentioning the noose Ivor had been staring at so angrily. "I was there when everything happened and he knew I understood him. It unfolded pretty naturally, to be honest. I would even consider us friends through our struggles. So all I really did was just tell him my thoughts and he opened up to me."

Isa nodded in approval and slightly gripped Jess's shoulder. "I thought him too obstinate to tell us anything but I learn something new everyday. Good job, my dear. Let us take a seat for now and we can continue questioning him later." Everyone nodded in agreement and moved down the hallway where a comfortable break room was, filled with snacks and minor entertainment to keep them busy for a bit. As they all filtered through the room and went their different ways, Olivia pulled Axel and Jess to the side and sat them down in some chairs with a stern look.

"We need to talk."

The sudden demand by the curly-haired girl caught both friends off guard and they looked at each other before looking back at Olivia. "Why?" Axel asked, clearly bewildered. Jess pointed at the burly boy, saying, "What he said. I don't know what we're talking about."

Olivia groaned and put her head on her forehead before gesturing behind her to point at the others. "We need to talk about... them. The Far Lands. Everything. Ivor is in that room down there right now and if we don't ask him what's most important, we may never get this chance again."

"I'm not sure I'm following, honestly," said Jess, rubbing her hand against the back of her neck. "It's mostly about asking where Soren is, no?"

"Well, yes, but have you forgotten? He wanted to punish his friends using the Storm! He was erratically mad over a lie that he could have just exposed through some post on the internet. You need to make him explain everything, especially how Soren was able to get his hands on something like a command block! The Order has never once explained that to us and that thing was the source of all our problems. Why did they even have that chip in the first place? How did Ivor manage to get it afterward? Were they the reason there was only one ender dragon left? These are the questions we have to ask, Jess. There is more to this than we've been told outright, and if Ivor doesn't speak up, then we will never get true justice for the public. Think about it. The public would be outraged to know that a previous Order member was simply 'salty' that huge figures lied and cheated like other celebrities do – it's not reason enough to justify creating a wither in the middle of the city."

The green-eyed girl blinked with slow realization. Olivia was completely right. There was more to this than she had originally considered. If Ivor hated how Soren abused the command chip so often, why had he taken it and then used it himself? How had the command chip even become real? Olivia had explained to her previously how Ellegaard had been researching a way to create a command block, which meant the Order had no clue how to make it – it came from somewhere else. A gear started turning in Jess's head and she brought her hand to her chin in deep contemplation.

Axel, who had been listening next to the twin sister, shook his head softly and crossed his arms. "Liv, I don't think we should worry about that right now. Finding Soren is a bigger issue than uncovering no secrets. If we don't find that guy, we get less answers overall, right? Besides, if we really think about it, Ivor saved Jess."
